One of them will win it and to be fair looking at whats on offer opposition wise I'd back all three to to be in the semis barring an earlier round clash. If I had to pick an order I'd say Roma had the best chance with Totti etc,Samps next 'cos they play some good footy and Palermo last 'cos of the idiotic remarks by the supermarket tycoon Zamparini after the Inter game ....

How can Bolton, a team that has never qualified for Europe before, have such a high score? Surely they should be based on that teams performance, not where they come from.
Actually, I think the co-efficients are based on the country the team comes from - maybe the minimum co-efficient for England is about 20. As Bolton finished 6th (?) in England last year they would be given a figure in the low 20s. Whereas somewhere like Romania may have an absolute max of 20, so average Romanian teams would be about 8. Overtime, as the performance of Romanian teams in Europe improves, so does their coefficient number range.
But I agree with you - they are a bit strange. Roma are good, but I don't think they should be as rated as highly as they are, and Bolton being above Samp?
I would wait to see who drops out of the Champions' League before making predictions on who's gonna win the UEFA Cup. There's gotta be some decent teams drop into it, and everyone seems to forget about it when the UEFA Cup is just starting out.
