Was it a walk to clear your head because you were so overcome with emotion?

Eek for around five minutes, i just could not believe we could win on penalties just sat there motionless.
Then my mate looked at me, i looked at him then all hell broke lose as we went potty.
yeah the walk came a lot later but i will never forget it, even naw if anyone tells me we won the world cup on penalties i think wow! its still hard to register

Drank too much birra, consequently spent a fruitless 10 minutes on the phone to my friend who watched the game in Viareggio and watched the highlights on BBCi until the wee small hours.

Having just returned from holiday in France, enjoyed wearing my Italia shirt as much as possible, with my 11 year old son chanting "Forza Italia" - amazing how many shops over there are now selling 1998 T-Shirts again!

As hinted by my previous post (deleted) I found the situation so emtionally involving I had to produce a box of Kleenex. Surely that'll get past the Mods?

I was in Berlin for the final and roamed the streets for hours with the ecstatic fans Smile

My sister and I ran around like maniacs screaming and yelling with joy!!!!

We both couldn't believe that we actually WON a penalty shootout. All the painful WC losses flooded through me and I felt a bit meloncholy for Baggio and Maldini who suffered for so many years and were not on this team.

Then the phone calls flooded in from around the country and overseas with congrats.

Even non-Italian fans and non-soccer fans were happy because the French got beat! Cool
