It should be obvious, even to a retarded Belgian hamster...

Sorry CJ
Hail! Hail! The Inter's here...

And you can also get the reasons for Reggie's train being late from here My favourite remains 'Badger hit junction box at New Malden'...

"Fed up by train delays, came by bike. Slow puncture at Peckham" tops that one I think.
A minute's silence for my flat. I contracted a Mr Laurel and a Mr Hardy to fit my kitchen. The consumerist's dream has turned into anarchy. Apart from wrecking the units, floor and worktop of said kitchen, they are busily grouting my rug, putting glue on the stairs carpet, smashing carefully packed crockery and have even managed to break my toilet seat. So that's a year's arbitrage wisely invested. Who said gambling doesn't pay? Try telling that to the tools with the tools.
Staying up to watch my Argie boys play the Columbian masters tonight. Have to get your football fix where you can in these dark summer months.

There was nothing wrong with your kitchen in the first place. Spendthrift.

Going for the gold plated look then?Classy.

Charles W. Sweeney, aged 84. Pilot of the bomber that dropped the nuclear bomb on Nagasaki in 1945. Another shameful chapter in the history of the good'ole U S of A.

Sacha Distel
French singer, aged 71.
Reports that he was fatally injured by a raindrop falling on his head are not accurate...

Nice. 8 weeks and counting, September 12th, we all can't wait. That's when the magic will happen. Italian football? Hell no I'm off on my jollies!

Marc Overmars' Career
Brought to a premature end by a persistent knee injury.
And, perhaps
Sven Goran Eriksson's job?
Loud rumblings from within the FA about the embarrassing nature of his affair with a secretary of said organisation, made more embarrassing by the fact that Mark Palios also had an affair with her...
Can't help feeling that we might have a 'terminated by mutual consent' arrangement before too long, with both parties deciding that the press coverage is too much.

It's sad that Marc Overmars has called it a day - the memory of his goal at Old Trafford in 1998 will be with me forever...
Enzo Maresca, Hidetoshi Nakata, Christian Obodo, Cristiano Lupatelli, Dario Dainelli, Gianni Guigou - welcome to Firenze. "Maresca will now look forward to playing in front of a fantastic crowd." He's arriving from Juve, they hardly need the "fantastic" in there.

If Sven goes who's in? That miracle worker at Middlesborough? Curbishley? Bruce? English managers, good English managers are a bit thin on the ground. I don't think the Press would want another 'Johnny Foreigner'. So Houllier is out. Thank God. Who's left? Chi non salta e Rossonero!

Well, Klinsmann is the new German national coach, so he can be scrubbed of the list.
