The reason we make everyone sign up at the beginning of the season is to make it fair. To be honest if you joined now you'd probably finish last. If you're hanging around though we'd be happy to have you next season.

In previous seasons of various prediction leagues, me and MPC always had this little thing running - he had to beat me, and I had to beat him.
Nothing would give me greater satisfaction than winning this league, particularly as he was in first place before his death. If I do win, and it is early doors as things stand at the moment, I will happily relinquish the title and request that it is awarded posthumously to that Chicarella bugger. If I don't finish top, I hope that the jammy sod who does do so, will consider doing the same....although it'll take a miracle to move me off the top!

I didn't know Marcello, even though I've been registered on this site for about two and a half years (I registered, then spent all my time with the bell-ends on the AOL Football message boards), but I've been absolutely overwhelmed by the love and affection shown towards the man after his life was so tragically cut short.
Should the unthinkable happen, and I actually win this thing, I will dedicate it to Marcello. Like Gio, I urge others to do the same.
