*39 weeks, due to the Palermo-Catania thing, hence why halfway through the season, there was a week where everyone scored 0 or 1.

Many thanks to the markers and congratulations to Curva on an impressive late comeback. Hard luck to Gio too, who did well in both competitions but had a completely unsuccessful and ultimately miserable season.

Thanks to everyone that played until the end or as long as they could, it kept the game from going under.

As Liam said, hopefully with Serie A starting with teams level (though i won't hold my breath), there'll be a bigger interest next season to save competition in Marcello's name.

Also, hopefully it'll be easier to follow for participants, with less games played on their own or postponed etc.

Mine is a team in transition. Bearing that in mind my season in both competitions has been extraordinarily successful.

2007/08 Season

If anyone has any proposals for rule changes or new rules for next season (2007/08) can you post them by the end of June so it gives other people time to responds with their opinions and any proposals.

The rules as they stand at the moment are on page 25 of this thread, on my post headed 'Marcello Chicarella Championship 2006/07 - Rules'.

If any of the current administrators: Liam and Juvefans cannot continue please contact me. If anyone else wants to be an administrator please post on this thread.

I propose to scrap rule 1c , as i can't post the email address anymore for the last 4 weeks of the season because it contravenes forum rules.
