Why don't you just change the rules on a permanent basis to allow predictions to be posted before kick off every week rather than deciding as you see appropriate like in the case of week 12? Just an idea.

Thank you for availing of rule 11a regarding your proposal to amend rule 3, i will prepare an amendment to be put forward to the other administrators.

As of rule 11b, i will e-mail the other administrators with the proposed amendment and it will be discussed if one other administrator wishes for it to be discussed. Then it will be voted on, if it is discussed.

I'll post the proposed amendment in this thread and i'll post any further developments on this issue, in this thread.

To replace the following rule...

3. The Deadline For Predictions

• 3 a. The deadline for predicting results is midnight (GMT) Friday [12:00am (GMT) Saturday morning] of each weekend which games are played.
  
• 3 b. The deadline will be changed appropriately to a different day or time if a Serie A game(s) is not played at the weekend.
  
• 3 c. Any changing of the deadline will be posted on the prediction thread for that Serie A week effected by the deadline change.

• The deadline for predicting results is 1 minute before the kickoff time (GMT) of the first game(s) of each Serie A week.
  
  Eg.1 - If the first game(s) is Saturday at 17:00 hours (GMT), then predictions will be accepted upto and on the time of 16:59 hours (GMT).
  Eg.2 - If the first game(s) of midweek fixtures is Wednesday at 19:30 hours (GMT), then predictions will be accepted upto and on the time of 19:29 hours (GMT).

Therefore, to also withdraw the following rule, as it will be defunct...

4. South/North American and Caribbean Members

• 4 a. The deadline will be extended for individual members who live in a country that is West of the GMT line and whose time line is after the GMT line.
  
• 4 b. An appropriate deadline will be set to correspond with Friday midnight of an individual members’ local time.
  
• 4 c. To avail of the options in rules 4a and 4b, the member concerned must post on the forum their country of residence and time difference to GMT, this will then be verified by an administrator.

I did this table so Michael has a chance to catch up before the week 12 marks are counted.

Please note: Members on the same number of points, should be separated in accordance with rule 8a.

8 a. In the event of a tie-break in the table after week 38, between two or more participants. The winner will be the member whom predicted the highest score for the most amount of weeks, and so on in descending order. Thereafter, if more than one member is still tied, more than one winner will be declared.

However, i forgot to do this.

It doesn't really matter anyway, until the last week.

By the way regarding my late week 10 predictions, just checked them, I got them all wrong but I would have been sick if I had guessed them all correctly!

I still believe we should let everyone post their predictions up until a minute before kick-off rather than the Friday mid-night deadline.
