been reading this site for a fair while now and thought this was a decent time to sign up.

Ive not seen any other posts on Atalanta, so i thought i start here!

Ive been following The Orobici for 10 years now after first watching them during a flying visit to Milan/Bergamo.

Just wondering if there was perhaps any more Atalanta fans in the UK, and thought this might be a good place to look.

I might go and see them if it fits in with the dates I am going over to see Inter - flights go to Bergamo....

Did you see Caniggia play for them?

He's my fav player due to his spell at Dundee

Unfortunately i never saw him play for Atalanta, i saw him play for Roma on C4 a few times, i think thats around the time he was banned along with Maradonna?

I have been an Atalanta fan for a while now, got into them just ebfore coverage started on Channel 4 as was a huge fan of Glenn Stromberg who suprised everyone by signing for Atalanta.

I have to say, I am really lookign forwards to this season, looks like they could have an excellent side, with some of the returning sons...

But, was on holiday in Croatia and heard that Simic was signing for the Bergamasca... but nothing confirmed.

Not a bad start to the season, however i cant help but feel that we should have taken maximum points from all of our games.
Looking at the games we've played so far, a goal less draw at Catania is 2 points dropped, and another draw with Empoli at home is points dropped.

We need to be more clinical in front of goal, i just hope that Ventola can replicate the form he showed on opening day.

What has happened to Veira and Doni I noticed that neither has played in any games so far. Are they injured or just not getting a game. A hungry fit Veira would be a major asset but an overweight uninterested Veira would probably just cause unrest. Doni seemingly did well last year at Mallorca so he might prove the difference between staying up and relegation. Hope so.

Sorry for the time it took me to reply. Serie B next season, I would be very disappointed if they were relegated at this point... Some disappointing results but some excellent ones as well, Atalanta 2 AC Milan 0 for example :-). Was watchng text coverage of that match on the Gazzetta website, when they gave five minutes injury time I though here we go... then Soncin scored! Yey! Shame the Atalanta curse struck again, ex players scoring against us...

Nice to hear from a Brescia fan, how many managers are they going to go through this season? break the record maybe this year?

I love the rivalry between the two cities, big history fan and have fan they have hated each other for centuries...
