There seem to be very few posts in the daytime these days, which is when I'm on here mainly. Surely there must be others else out there in the same boat as me? If so, let's talk crap on this thread.
I'll start the ball rolling:
1) If Man Utd/Milan or a club of similar stature drop into the UEFA cup, would they take it really seriously? 2) Anyone been to Cambodia? I'm going next year and not sure whether to pay £80 for a rabies jab or risk it. 3) Anyone got any jobs to offer me?
Ive never been but id get the jabs if i were you...£80 is a couple of nights out anyway, so its not like its a huge amount of money.
If a big club like Milan dropped into the UEFA they'd have to take it seriously as they'd be expected to win it. Imagine Milan playing Dnipro [or the like] and getting beat? Ooooh, it wouldn't be pretty...
"Why do you take my statements with a papal seriousness?" "I don't want the virgin olive oil..."
Currently the best sides in UEFA Cup are probably Roma and Hamburg. The best sides who may drop into it are Milan, Man Utd, Schalke and Werder. I'm just thinking of my bet on Palermo to win it. I think they could, but wouldn't fancy their chances against Milan or Man Utd - they could beat anyone else I reckon.
Palermo are a decent bet...i'd have preferred Steaua though [after seeing them destroy Everton]. Could spring a surprise...
Do the EC dropouts normally make an impact in the UEFA? Last season Lokomotiv were in throughout, as were Sporting the year before...and i cant remember before that That could suggest that the EC sides just don't cut the mustard [i mean, i wouldnt fancy Shalke or Werder Bremen to run amock against Roma, Monaco, Hamburg or Middlesbrough et al.]

I'm pretty sure Man United would take the UEFA Cup seriously, as it's the only European trophy we haven't won.
Get the £80 jabs! When I was living out in Thailand, I heard of a few people getting rabies when they went on short breaks to Cambodia, Vietnam & Laos...
I usually post in the day.......although it's generally tedious nonsense.
All those who've quit thier jobs can have a virtual handshake from me. I done it recently and it's bloody great. I've still got a few months to work though.
I've been to Cambodia Ferret. Depends where you go as I can't see you confronting any rabid dogs in the cities, well Phnom Penh anyway.
I'd say it's worth it though, for £80 you may as well give yourself some immunisation against an otherwise certain death. Good country though Cambodia, elepthants walking down the streets, people with guns, super strong and cheap beer and of course the seediest bar in the world "Heart of Darkness". You can also buy 40 valium for about 2 dollars.
Returning to the grim Eastern European football side theme...ive always been amused at the name of Croatia Zagreb...its like being called England Arsenal
Im pleased that im now finished for the day and can go home to my throne...and such...

I;m handing in my notice this week So happy i could urinate myself here and now.
Jammy git! Did you make a puddle? Weren't you emigrating to Canada at one point?
My job's just got dead busy spells and dead boring periods - I'm just in one of the latter. Just come back from an interview anyway, so fingers crossed.
I'm spending bloody loads on flights etc to far east, I could have done without the extra expense of jabs. I was shocked when I found out you had to pay - I thought they were free at your local doctor's. But you're right - knowing my luck I'll survive all the land-mines in Cambodia but get bitten by a rabid mutt!
