the mention of the shabby end to channel 4s coverage-with ten minutes to go on the day Roma clinched the scudetto(so they didnt delay the broadcast of a 40 year old film)-was interesting as people seem to look back on the channel 4 days with rose coloured spectacles as some sort of golden age

Football italia was at its best from 92 to around 97/98. After that it went downhill. I think we'll see it again though.
