I usually hang out with my friends from halls just up the raod, only they're all being moved into a house so i'm going to at a loose end! I also spend a lot of time on the phone to my boyfriend, who isn't called caitlin...

Bored! - Chapter 2

For Christmas, I'd love to get an all expense paid trip to Juve-Napoli game, plus a season ticket to the home of Dublin GAA Parnell Pk, plus the Forza Italia book by Paddy Agnew (is it any good?), plus the Juve and Dublin GAA home jerseys, plus the new U2 DVD and book.

What i reckon i'll get is; A few pairs of socks, maybe either the U2 DVD or the book, maybe one of either a Juve jersey or Dublin Jersey. Actually, if i get any of them it'll be good, hold the socks though!

So...2 Questions;

What do people here really want for Christmas?

What do you think you will actually get?

I've read the Paddy Agnew book, it's good, I remember thinking there were a few sort of unnecessary chapters - like do we really need a whole chapter on Juve's monkey business? Everyone knows it and there are more interesting and exciting things to read about. One thing with the book is I think it was released literally just before Calciopoli broke so you get the impression it's just missing something, but it is a good read there's some nice life and family stuff. You might have but if you haven't check out History of Calcio by John Foot, phone book size but I got through it in a flash, great book.

I reckon I'll get a few CDs, couple books, bits and bobs basically. I've asked for an iPod, but I'm not sure I'll get one. I do really want something for Christmas but I'm not saying - it's not material put it that way

WANT: Fully paid holiday in Miami, backstage passes to Kasabian's gig later this month, SKY + and an ammicable end to the affair I started on Friday (my head has never been as wasted as it is now, and I done 'the white stuff' for a solid year in 2002).

GET: Tiger Woods 2007 for the PS2, a crappy jumper that's two sizes too big for me from my Mum, an obscenely expensive, yet utterly repulsive, item of designer clothing from my wife, and caught/found out over the aforementioned affair.

Bought the Paddy Agnew book just after the Calciopoli events happened, and it said that there is a mini chapter of what happened on it, but as of yet I have not had the chance to read it.

Never done this sort of thing before, and never, ever expected to.

It's only been going on for a week, so I'm not sure where it'll end up, but my head is in absolute pieces right now.

Fookin office Xmas parties! Valentine

Was she good? Was she worth it?

I suspect the answers are 'yes' and 'no' respectively.

Hope things sort themselves out, Mezz.

I wouldn't post anymore on here though if I were you, just in case Mrs Mezz 1 miraculously spots it.

Wise council, Ferret.

And by the way PD, it's 'yes' to both questions...

I might just be forgetting it, which is quite likely, I'm sure mine has nothing about it though. Not that I'm complaining, it's not exactly exciting stuff to read about. Maybe there was a second edition printed. Thinking about it mine was published in 2006 but just before the World Cup win as well - I wonder if the bloke is kicking himself a bit that he didn't get to write anything about that? Seems a bit silly timing thinking about it

Oh Mezz.

What I want: Lots of things most of them not material. To see Maldini play live before he retires.

What I will get: Cheques, box of chocs that I won't eat, calendar, box set of American Dad.

The 'other half' generally doesn't use this machine, Dave, as she's got a laptop, but I hear what you're saying.

I know, I know.

I'm as surprised as anyone to tell the truth, but I just can't seem to let it go. The third party has made it perfectly clear that she's completely in to me, which feels like heaven and hell combined.

If it had been a two minute knee-trembler in a khazi somewhere, then that's that, but I left home for work on that Friday morning fully expecting to be home on Friday night / early Saturday morning but ended up getting in at 8:00am on Sunday morning.

I had every opportunity to leave, but couldn't find a single plausible reason to get up and go...

The john foot book doesn't have anything about the calciopoli or world cup win either, but i think he must have already done a second edition as i saw it on amazon with cannavaro plus the world cup on the front cover.

I got the Paddy Agnew book for christmas but annoyingly left it at home after only reading 2 chapters. (not that i really have time to read anything that isn't for uni)

On the Subject of Christmas I've no idea what i want for christmas much to the annoyance of my family/boyfriend/friends who are all stupid enough to want to get me things. Although I don't know what to get them either.

Actually i wouldn't mind Alberto Aquilani...
