If, and that is a huge IF, Juve were relegated, the fire sale of players would be on.

I would like to see Canna in a Roma shirt Cool

If Moggi, an individual within a club, is found to be guilty then he shouldn be dealt with accordingly. However, there is no need to drag the whole club through this as they have nothing to do with his dealing and wheelings.

Peter you're a gent!

Juve4ever, come on, it's a bit far fetched to suggest he was acting alone and nobody in the whole club hierarchy had no idea of Moggi's dodgy dealings isn't it? I mean the money for the Ibra deal or any other wasn't coming out of dodgy moggi's own pockets was it? Anyone with half a brain knows how slimey he is. Besides it's the club's responsibilty to make sure all their employees are behaving themselves, that includes the endless shady director of whatever roles at Italian clubs as well as players

SB, I am not disputing the fact that Moggi is a slimey mafioso. All I am saying is that we have to punish the one who has commited the crime. There is no real hard evidence to suggest that anyone other than Moggi was involved in this ref fixing saga (not yet anyway). All we have heard so far is a phone conversation and that is that. This alone does not suggest the rest of the club were behind him or supportive of what he did. To suggest that Juve should be relegated to Serie B beacuse of a bad apple like Moggi is absurd. Simply kicking him out/revoke his license for a few years and slapping a hefty fine on Juve or putting some kind of restriction on their transfer activities for the next few years would be a more appropriate punishment. Hit them where it hurts i.e. in their pockets.

Nonsense. They knew exactly what he was doing. The club should be penalised.

I'll second that.

If Juve claim he acted alone, they're lying.

I don't think the players were in on it seeing as there is zero evidence. Moggi and Giraudo have evidence against them so they should be punished.

So if before the champions leafue final a few years back when Juve meat milan if Berlascuoni (sp?) gave the whole ofthe first team food pisoning and you played reserves aginst a full strength milan and lost 4-0 you would be happy for milan not to be punished?

If most of the allegations are true, and every day it looks worse for Juve, they should be given at the minimum a huge fine and a restriction on tranfers imposed.

Roma were accused of doing far less in the Mexes affair[which I still think we were treated unfairly] and we got a year ban.

But you wrong doings were in the transfer market hence the ban in transfers JUve have done something else im not sure a trasnfer ban is right for them.

Doesn't cooking the books on tranfer fees qualify?

The consiquences of not punishing Juve and send them to serie B will be:

Other big team will hire someone has the same Mogi's skills. If he caught by court, they will terminate him and until that time may the club will win many calcio like Juve.

The looser will be all other teams which spent alot of many to bring many talented players to thier team to win Calcio atleast once like Inter Milan Club in last 20 years.

Due to these reasons, it is not fair that Moggi take Punishment only. If i was there i will take all Calcio and oher tropies since Moggi joined Juve and give it to second range team after Juve. For example, this Season Milan deserves to be the winner. Secondly, i will transfere Juve team to serie B. These steps only called justic and other than this will be disaster in Italian Football as whole.
