I will be travelling to Italy early in the new year and would like to know how I can purchase tickets for Serie A and Champions League games. I heard they have limited tickets to one per person and valid Id must be shown.

Any insight would be great!!!!

If you go on the main football italia website there is information about it on there.

Tickets don't usually go on general sale until about a week before the game. You can go through one of those big companies though (£299 all inc etc). There are various sites entrusted by some clubs to sell tickets, but same rule as before applies. There are a few banks, bars and shops that sell tickets in the cities too.

It is possible best to check out the clubs official website and see what they have to say.

Wouldn't bother going through a tour company on the "all inclusive" idea..They really pull your pants down on the ticket prices..

I'm not one to brag BUT ...I've just sorted my trip out for the Milan derby and it breaks down like this

Cost of flight Liverpool/Milan £30 return total includes taxes etc

Cost of 4 star hotel on Corsa Magenta £30 per night x two nights =£60

Cost of match ticket in second tier orange section £25

Total cost of trip =£115

Not bad eh ? Of course there's food and drinks which errrr...will probably be in three figures but you would have spent that anyway !!!

Need any more advice info ?There's plenty on this forum who know the tricks of cheapo Siere A footy travel...

Forza Inter !!!!!!!!!!!!

nudger,

That's great, but how did you get the tickets? It's my 40th next April and I'm deperate to go to the Milan daerby with my son.

Best online price I can find for orange section 2nd tier is 105 quid - disgraceful!

What's your secret?
