Hello one and all! Firstly i am new,i have been meaning to join for a while but i thought the day Italy win the World Cup is as good a day as any. Obviouly i am a big fan of Italian football,i follow Inter,however my two sons follow Juve & Napoli so i keep an eye out for them as well! I read in the papers this morning that Cannavaro is going to sign for Chelsea. I hope this is not true cos i'm not a great fan of Chelsea and he is my favourite Azzurri player. My boy also idolises him. Never mind,you can't really blame him,especially with all the bother Juve are currently in! There,glad i got all that of me chest
The whole Juve players thing is making me laugh - all last week we had to read they're staying whatever - now Cannavaro's off to Chelski or Real, Thuram's off to Barca. I think maybe some of them wouldn't mind staying to be honest but the Juve hierarchy are probably saying something else, i.e. 'no, clear off' - they're going to be skint enough if they go down to B, I read somewhere if they go to C1A they'll go into liquidation (?). They'll have to offload big earners then even if they want to stay.
I heard on Sky News this morning that some senior politicians and lawyers in Italy (didn't catch their names) have asked that there be an amnesty for all clubs involved in the Calciopoli thing if Italy win the World Cup.
