How about this?

You can live in denial if you want, but it happened

I was transposing football history onto human history.
It was a very long time ago in terms of the development of football. The two games are unrecognisable.

It wasnt right to do it back then but it is an irrelevancy.
You didn't answer my question: Will Inter EVER be able to accuse anyone of corruption without being called a hypocrit, because of something that happened in the 60s?
The fact that someone in a high place at our club did something wrong 40 years ago does not mean he is doing something wrong now. And it certainly doesnt excuse your club and Juve for their sins today.
Your willingness to deflect attention from your wrongs onto irrelevancies outdoes most of our MPs.

I'm not trying to deflect attention away from anyone. I just find it funny how your fans have this self righteous atitude when they have been guilty of similar things in the past - especially as the person involved is now in charge of the club.
I'm not naive and I'm sure most clubs in Italy(and the world) are corrupt. Corruption and money nearly always go hand in hand.
At least with this case it proves what we have been saying that Juve have had more than their fair share of favourable decisions.

What exactly are you on about?

Are you referring to the alleged corruption etc of Angelo Moratti in the 1960s?

What does this have to do with Massimo Moratti?

What are the supposed sins of Inter now?

It strikes me that you have a very patchy understanding of the situation.

Have you read anything I've written? where did I say anything about Moratti? I was referring to Facchetti(your president), and his involvement.
And I take it that from this quote
quote:
What are the supposed sins of Inter now?

That you as well are living in denial. Face facts the history of Inter is not as nice and clean as you lot would have us believe Wink

They've never been caught in a newspaper scandal.

I read about the allegations in world soccer magazine, although I'm sure at the time there would have been something in the papers Wink

Nobody at the club now has been caught doing anything wrong in their current position.
Your clubs have.
No way out of it.

So Europe dealt in slaves, we can still criticise a country tht does it now WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE.

So you're denying that fachetti was involved now are you? you inter fans really crack me up.
And BTW I know that Milan have been involved in corruption and I'm not naive enough to deny it.
You've got to realise that Il Grande Inter was built out of corruption, whether you like it or not. And the main culprit runs your club Wink

Where have I denied it?
I said nobody has been caught doing anything untoward (apart from playing shocking football of course) whilst in their current position.

And what's wrong with a milanista stating the obvious? Nobody is saying they are 'clean' history wise, but no one/club have been in the limelight so much for the above reasons than Dopentus in recent times. The Mogue has abrogated to himself the "right" to fix things up so that Dopentus has been having it easy in Italy for sometime now. Everyone knows it is no coincidence they are just sh*te in europe. So I don't see why I shouldn't say it. If you feel differently, then you need to get out of your hole.

What imaginary point are you trying to get over in relation to Facchetti?

You seem to forget that you're being investigated, too.

I had the pleasure of seeing a very worried looking Galliani in Milan on Saturday morning. The press were looking for him, they must have had a few tricky questions for him.

Hopefully your lot will return to B along with Juventus and Fiorentina.

Probably the only way Inter could win the Scudetto.

Then again...

I think it's evident to all but those doing a Nelson impersonation that we would have won a couple in the fairly recent past had it not been for some jiggery pokery.

Milan fans refuse to accept that their European Cup wins in the late 80s are any less valid because English teams were banned at the time.

Yes, Duncan. Big Grin I'm sure Sinter can't win with the likes of Roma around. Probably if you take away Dopentus, Milan, Fio and Roma.
