dont know if anyone else has seen it yet but its a kind of strange looking shirt. its a white shirt with pretty large low v/neck with a blue roundneck t/shirt look underneath for the collar with the new figc logo on it. its now beginning to grow on me the more i see it though so will probably invest in one soon. what does anyone else think of it?
If my dentist was to wear a normal Italy home shirt under his apron it would look something like this. Not got the thumbs up from spagbelli! Anyone need a filling?
The last Italy shirts both home and away were top drawer the tailoring was fantastic! Built to make even my middle ageing physique more muscular and attractive
I think the designer of this shirt needs to decide whether they want to design sports clothing or work in the fashion industry. I hate it when they do stuff like this. Very ugly.
Oh jeez I just noticed the shirts at the bottom of the link I posted. My first post was on the logo btw. The shirts are horrid. Is that a dark red home kit???
There's a link here, at the bottom of the pretentious blurb about the new shirt. Looking at the designer's background, I suspect that he has designed a fashion item that serves as a football shirt rather than the other way around.
And if you don't like it, there's worse to come, since the blurb says:

This deep v-neck technique also hints at the team’s new 2006 home kit to be released on March 1st.
We'll have to wait to see whether this is simply pretentious tosh for 'and the home shirt will be the same but with the colours reversed'
I wouldn't say that. Kappa produced a crappy kit when they made that nasty material and the back was longer than the front. And the away kit had a blue horizontal strip along the chest. Plus the broke the tradition of not having the logo on the shirt for the players.
Italy's current (on the way out) shirt is very classy.

I don't like the current home or away shirts. I think they look really cheap and nasty, like shirts used to in the early 90s, and I for one will be glad to see the back of them.
Gigi Buffon was wearing the new away shirt on Gazzetta earlier. It actually doesn't look too bad when it's on, but that might just be because it suited him particularly well.
I would have thought that the new home shirt would be quite different from the away one, as same-style home & away shirts usually come out at the same time...
This latest kit is unbelievably bad . The designer worked for Gucci and Prada? Was he sacked? Is it an English plan to destabilize the Azzurri? Looking at this it will work!

The first lot of Kappa shirts were pants but the skin-tight affair was original and I liked it. I agree about the move from having the FIGC logo on the shirt, this was bad.
Doo Wop's description sounds more like the first kit Puma did than any of the Kappa strips.
Personally I didn't like the shirts that are on their way out (okay so i bought the home one as i always do but that's not for fashion reasons). I thought the shiny material was dated, and I hated the stupid "is it half a cuff/a weird air-vent thing/ just a pointless design feature" thing on the sleeves of the EURO2004 ones. I am beginning to like the away top a bit more - in fact i just ordered it from subside because of their numbering offer.
It's called Sex Panther, by Odeon. It's illegal in 9 other countries. It's made with pieces of real panther, so you know it's good. They've done studies you know - 60% of the time, it works every time!
