Wed 13 Feb 08, 21:15 Having a bit of a footy based trip 2nd week March. Can anyone recommend any decent "areas" fo hotels for the above citys ? Turin Hope to be in Turin for the Sunday game Torino V Atalanta and stay over that night. Need somewhere handy for Communale ground AND city centre (how far apart are they /)
Rome Flying into Ciampano (?) Weds afternoon and staying over night and sight seeing Thurs before flying back to Liverpool Thurs night Need somewhere half arsed decent possibly close to sights and airport bus link....
Just returned from a trip to Turin, I would recommend you stay in the centre as the stadium is easily reached on the 63 bus or 4 tram in about 15 minutes. Get your tickets from any newstand & they are valid on either transport. We've stopped at the Urbani previously but this time stayed at Le Petit which was really good & in a nicer area.
