Thats disapointing to hear as i've always felt adailton has been synonamous with verona. Ah well they'll just have to get on with it, but then again they will also lose gladstone this summer! They play torino this weekend and i feel that torino will just be too strong!
if you have 11 strikers, you can even ask them to defend. But if you have 11 defenders, you will never attack the other team.

Lost to 1 - 0 Torino - good for Toro, I'd like to see them back in Serie A, especially after all that's happened recently.
Can't really blame the bloke, Hellas just seem a bit of constant let down, just doing enough to finish above relegation of maybe low mid table, Adailton's been there years anyone's bound to get fed up of that in Serie B, all the time! Change of scenery be like a holiday!

Yeh you have got a point, might reignite his career but i fell it will be tough for verona next season!

They got a point away to Catania on the weekend, pretty good really, shame for them they're so dire the rest of the time! Looks like Atalanta and Catania are going up and the playoffs who knows? Really I want to see Torino up where they belong but then there's also the thing of seeing someone like Mantova playing their first ever (?) Serie A season

Yeh would be awesome for torino to be promoted, after last season they have rebuilt well and the juventus and torino derby will be amazing to see again.

So whats going to be going on at verona this summer, anything big or nice and quiet again on the football front? Has it been confirmed is adailton leaving?

Great! Some more hellas fans. Been on several calcio forums, but never found any other hellas fans, or anybody remotely interested! Gutted to here about Adailton, duno who's gonna score the goals for us next season if he does go, cos we won't spend any money. Although there are rumours that the club could be taken over by a group of local businessmen, lifelong fans apparently, so this could be good news.
Sempre e solo Hellas. Vicenza vaffanculo.

Then again, it could all be crap and we'll be stuck with Pastorello for ever!!!!!! Pastorello vattene!!!!

Maybe Craig David will prove to be a star for you? Or Craig Davies, I saw him come on for Wales yesterday against Trinidad and Tobago. Did he play at the end of last season? Looked out for something about it in the magazine but not a jot, nothing new there, mind you it'll hopefully be devoted to B soon when the Gobbi get relegated!

Craig Davies has made 1 sub appearance this season. But i think he is highly thought of, and if he stays he may play a bigger part next year. Certainly, if he keeps performing for wales then it will do his chances of making it in italy no harm at all. PS, Congrats to Atalanta and Catania - deserved promotions! Forza Toro in the play-offs!!

Davies needs to improve his first touch and control big time. Decent player but very infuriating at times.
ADP 06/07 - 23 goals
217 not out!!!!!!!!

That was the first I'd seen of him the other day with Wales, not really going to see Oxford much! He looked quite nippy but I can't say much more than that.
I'd like Torino to go up in the play offs I suppose, but than Mantova were up there for ages so I sort of feel for them. Do Modena still have Christian Bucchi? I'm surprised he's not in A somewhere.

Even more surprised now I read he scored 29 goals this season. Torino v Mantova in the play off final, I'm going to forget Mantova now, Forza Toro!

So verona have sold a further 2 players, and with gladstone also leaving they will surely struggle won't they?
|
| |
|

|
Well tommassi could be moving back to verona that could be good news for the club for next season! Has adailton gone yet?
|
| |
|

|
Tommasi would be a great signing for Verona - he's a ledg. I think Adailton has gone off to Genoa now.
|

|
Tommasi was more of a nice man than a great player...i think he's viewed so positively because of the personality rather than his playing achievements Or maybe thats just me...
"Why do you take my statements with a papal seriousness?" "I don't want the virgin olive oil..."

Tommasi's just signed for Levante in Spain...

Any further transfer news on the Gialloblu this summer? What are the prospects next season? Blighted like most by the "big 3's" arrivals I'd imagine? Davies was useful at Oxford but wasn't here long enough to prove anything. Strong & powerful but I'd guessed he'd struggle in Italy as he lacks technique.

In addition to Adda going to Genoa, Cassani has gone to palermo, who have also bought 50% of Munari, and Gervasoni has gone to Bari, with Anaclerio moving to Hellas in exchange. we have also signed 2 Roma reserve/youth players, Greco and Magliocchetti on season-long loans, and a Brazilian called Da Silva (striker), and a guy called di Giulio, but i don't know where these came from. Oh, and the manager Ficcadenti is staying after being touted for the Brescia job, which is a bit of a blow!!
