Well since no posts have been added this season i'll start. Verona were relegated from Serie B last season and are now sitting second from bottom in Serie C1. It is tragic that a club like ours until recently playing in Serie A has now plunged to the depths of Serie C. Anyone think this is similar to Leeds. Hellas have taken only 2 points from 7 games and have scored a measly 4 goals.

However in the Coppa Italia Serie C they are sitting pretty in second place in a 5 team group scoring eleven goals and unbeaten in the 4 matches so far.

Well this weekend Verona secured a 1-0 victory over Ternana but this still leaves them second from bottom in the league. Next up is a difficult away game to Foggia who currently are 12th in the league and who also secured a 1-0 victory over Paganese who are bottom of the table.

Apparently the new coach threw in 3 or 4 young kids into the starting line up. Although the performance was not fantastic Hellas managed first 3 points of the season. Il gialloblu tiffosi seem resigned to a season of struggle.

Massive debts and the only half decent players sold during the summer do not help !!

Another sunday and another defeat. Losing 2 - 0 away to Foggia. A shameful start with 6 defeats from 9 games and only 1 win tells it's own story. It will be a long and hard season for the Gialloblu.

Well since I last wrote we have drawn 2 games at home to Pro Patria (0-0) and Foligno (1-1) and suffered a 3-0 reverse at Padova. The unthinkable has happened and we now sit bottom of the league. Feels like Leeds but they have turned things round so heres hoping Hellas can do the same and soon before it's too late!!

Please tell me my fellow Butei are using this forum. i've waited my life for fellow Hellas fans in England!!!

I cannot believe how this season has gone, every game i keep thinking 'this is the one to turn things around' and as monday night proved, we're still not good enough.
