Erm, no...because I was aware Beckham was captain of England, same for Totti, and same for the others. I didn't know Recoba was captain of Inter, in fact, I wasn't even sure of it when I started the thread, hence the question in the title. As for your comments about Cordoba and Zanetti, captains don't need to be highly vocal. But they do need to be committed and consistent, and there are big doubts about that with regard to Recoba.
You admit that Recoba isn't hard-working, but say he has "the biggest mouth" - well, in that case, I'm prepared to ponce about upfront for Inter and shout at people.

As a captain was commited even on Wednesday and has been so far this season for club and country as I said before, he does try to press but ofcourse he is like a Roberto Baggio, all his effort goes into making magic happen in attack and not defence, a rarity in modern football and players like this of pure talent are dissapearing, again I repeat Recoba might not be the same type of captain as Montero is for Uruguay, that shouts works hard defensively but does sweet FA in attacking sense, but similar in a different way, his focus and commitment is there but most of it is put into helping the team get a goal.

Anyway there were eleven players on the pitch, Inter conceded 3 goals and scored 2 but I think it was the person in the dugout rather the players on the pitch like Cordoba or Recoba that didn't show focus or commitment, buts lets leave it there, I've given you the fair explaination you asked for, whether you choose to accept it or not is up to you.

I don't really understand, Montero wouldn't give me in attacking sense cos he's s defender surely? Recoba is a git of a gimp, but Moratti will no doubt be preparing a new five year contract as we speak.

Maybe so, but baggio proved himself at other teams as well. I know Recoba had one good season at Venezia, but has had many years to establish himself at Inter and has not done it. He should move, for his sake and Inter's.
