Erm, no...because I was aware Beckham was captain of England, same for Totti, and same for the others. I didn't know Recoba was captain of Inter, in fact, I wasn't even sure of it when I started the thread, hence the question in the title. I only realised when Peter Brackley mentioned something about handing the captain's armband over.
As for your comments about Cordoba and Zanetti, captains don't need to be highly vocal. But they do need to be committed and consistent, and there are big doubts about that with regard to Recoba.
You admit that Recoba isn't hard-working, but say he has "the biggest mouth" - well, in that case, I'm prepared to ponce about upfront for Inter and shout at people.
There's nothing worse someone playing rubbish, not giving 100%, yet not ordering people about.
I read your comment again that "threads like this are not good for football" and found it even more hilarious this time around. Do you work for the Daily Mail?
