Only ok! is it the 2nd place thing and Bologna getting you down?? It has been too long!

Yeah come on you Roma! (for that match) Wink

An attraction for a buyer and some income from the Cl is vital for buyers and a little more to pay off the debt. Imo i want it more for the financial side than the football side, which i would usually see as wrong but for a team i like and are in trouble i see it as not as bad.

The amount of top class players that used to play for Parma and have been sold highlights how well Parma have done in the last couple of seasons.....

Zola,Veron,Thuram,Sukur,Nakata,Mutu,Milosevic,Mboma,Inzaghi,Fiore,Di Vaio,Crespo,Chiesa,Cannavaro,Buffon,Asprilla,Almeyda and Adriano.....yet they are still chasing for the CL-a great achievement...

*WELL DONE PARMA*

I will ALWAYS love Inter, until death does us part!

Yeah I think Parma are Seria A's "anti-Inter" in that players leave the club a far better player than that which arrived. Obviously there are exceptions (Gresko Frown )

Parma have a habit of churning out players of great quality who move onto bigger clubs. Inter have a habit of signing good quality players who then turn crap / underperform. So the two clubs are kind of like opposites.

I'm not really having a go at Inter, but it's undeniable that with the players Inter own/have owned, they should be playing at a far higher level than they are.

But if it werent for them we would not have a sebby. This is why i like Inter. Also Adriano. But the Gresko deal and Lamouchi deal were not on!
Also Ferrari was rejected by Inter.

I'm glad we got Morfeo off them aswell. Definitely prefer him to a selection of their random 17yr olds who probably need at least a year or two more before being real Parma first team material.

Altho annoying that we still only have him on loan. Damn we get suckered sometimes.

Parma are a great team who really do deserve a title.notto say the team hasnt won anythign though. theyve showed well over the last decade or so in all competitions just winning some eg Copa or UEFA cup wheras they only acquired 2nd as their best placing in the league.

it will really hurt me to see Parma fall apart this ummer.even if they do one gets a fellign that they'l find new players and stay right where they are though

BAGGIO PERM SEMPRE!!!!.200 Serie A goals with more to come

Parma is that team that you always like to see doing well (provided it's not to the disadvantage of your own team).

Everyone loves us! Big Grin We should have more than a UEFA cup and cup winners cup trophy to our names but that is football.
I really want to hammer Chievo like we did to Empoli last week. Another result like last season would make me happy because i can't see Lazio loosing and an Inter slip up would be great. This is a game which we need to win. Alberto will hopefully continue his impressive goal tally and against the donkeys will be even better! Anyone else think Zicu should get more of a chance in the team? I know he does get a game but the game is blatatnly talented so why not play him where he is most effective.

I think i said that after the Milan game. Its definietely worth a try as its obvious Carbone isn't up to the job. I too have heard good things about Zicu. I've only seen bits of him, but he looks very talnted as you said.

Parma are well good.

I think if Lazio get anymore infront of us we should use him. If our season isn't going to go into anything better we should give the youngsters the games until we safely have a UEFA place.
Rosina and Potenza need more of a run ut aswell. Rosina finished last year really well i am suprised he hasnt had more involvement.

I suppose he's suffered by the form of Marchionni.

Potenza should definitely be given a chance. As its quite obvious that Seric is not a long term option for left back

Parma are well good.

I've not really seen Zicu at all apart from his sub appearance in the Milan game, where he didnt do much but perhaps that's not the best match on which to judge him. Right now I'd preferto just stick with the more established players if they're available, but yes if Morfeo is still not recovered then perhaps Zicu could be given a start.

Considering the situation of the club it's hard to know what to do. Do we stick with the more established first team players and hope they can get us as high up the table as possible?
Or do we take a risk and play mostly our youngsters and see how well they perform, knowing that at least if they can't get us up the table, they might still be at the club after this season, and therefore the experience would be great for them?

Carbone isn't really an established player. he's only in the side due to injury. Thats why i think Zicu should be given a go.

but there are few other positions of which to try youngsers. I think Degano is only there as a replacement for if the unthinkable should happen and Gilardino gets injured. Central midfield is Blasi and Barone, with Donadel as a replacement.

Canna and Ferrari in central defence. Maybe when Bonera gets fit he'll play in the centre but when fit he usually gets played at RB. But intil he gets fit castellini usually gets played at right back. there's got to be someone better. I'm not to sure of anyone that plays there, Oyola, Bennarivo.

I just say stick with the team who's been getting our succes but with a few exceptions

Parma are well good.

Why have we still got Oyola, the biggest waste of space on our wage bill along with Bolano! Both waste of spaces.
I think no matter what we are going to have to sell our big stars in the summer even if we do get a buyer in the summer. We will need to rely on our youth massively. Donadel has huge potential and could be a great player in the future.
I am a pure Seric hater. The bloke is crap he is nor good at defending or going forward! I am not sure on players such as Gibbs and Ruffini who are supposed good talents. I say until we are out of the CL place race we play the strongest team we have.
Bennarivo is more of an ambassidor of the club and a role model for our youth than a starting 11 player. He is still needed at the club.
Maricio Amoroso had his contract terminated by mutual consent at DOrtmund, maybe we should give him another go lol. I liked him.
Another problem with Zicu i feel is that we definetly have Morfeo for another year so his chances will be cut down again! Whilst Morfeo is out give Zicu a half at least and break him into serie A slowly.

Another thing, i know we only really have Gilardino upfront as a real threat but what do we think about the signing of Cammarata? I know we needed a replacement incase Alberto got really hurt or something but this is such a waste of a signing. Delgano may aswell be given a go or Gibbs! I wish we hadn't let Montanno go now!
ALso Alberto will be most probably leaving in the summer so what are we gonna do? Rely on a Serie B signing who we hope to do the business but clearly wont?
