Larsson with another great euro final performance.Thought they'd blown it when bringing on belletti and not Messi as i'd hoped. The arsenal did well to go in front,but had to defend too deep for too long.Which was all they really could do.If i had 1 criticism it's maybe wenger could have put reyes on for hleb earlier.
And Lee, Thierry Henry was understandably upset about the loss. He had to give his analysis of the game (the biggest of his career) two minutes after the final whistle, and when the referee performed that poorly, I think it's hard for him to be completely rational. Some of his comments were incorrect, but I don't think you can blame him too much, given the situation.
I totally agree Mike but have yet to read anything out of Arsenal other than "the ref gave two decisions against us" etc.
Arsenal`s goal should never have been as it was a blatant dive, and it`s rather myopic of Wenger to neglect to mention that.
Maybe Henry`s bitterness was down to the fact that he should have scored a couple of goals but buggered it up somewhat.
Shame though as I don`t care for Barcelona and they really were there for the taking, they were pretty poor.
I thought Barca were pretty poor as well, or maybe Arsenal were just good. I reckon Henry's maybe a bit miffed he missed a couple good chances too so the ref gets in the neck even more, the ref was naff though, on both sides. I heard Sepp Blatter on the radio giving him a right slating.
