I assume that what might be going on is that one FI Ed thinks that this is fine, and has therefore made it a sticky (perhaps to show the person deleting the thread that it's perfectly OK?) or the Eds want us to use a single thread for this??

I find it ridiculous that these threads just keep getting deleted without explanation. As has been said we aren't gambling real money, and no one has been swearing on here, so i can't see what their problem is. Just to confuse us more they give this sticky status. Atleast if they let us know why they deleted the old threads we know where we stand.

Ed if you tell us what we have done wrong then maybe we can fix that problem.

Apologies Ivano, i was referring to the midweek matches which neither you or Shevvy posted predictions for - this week the deadline is 4pm today, you still have plenty of time....

As I suggested before, it might be worthwhile changing the terminology if the numpties who "run" this forum continue to delete the thread. I.e. We play for "points" not pounds and it is a "Serie A Prediction Championship" rather than a betting game.

Spinoza's suggestion to print the number of winners should be welcomed if he can take the time to count them all. All the info is available if he wants to mull over this fascinating stat.

The proposal to make a minimum bet of £5 is idiotic and destroys one of the elements of the game. I.e. The choice of a wide range of stake.

Delighted to be 2p ahead of Lavafiume despite having a fiver whipped off me for non-entry in week 3. Stuck in the Lake District sadly without access to a computer.
