The great thing about this game is, if you miss a few weeks at the beginning, you stand as a good a chance as any of blowing your wad in 15 bets or steadily climbing the table with a series of cautious bets (or 'Gios'), so participation from day one isn't vital.

I was unaware that blowing one's wad was a feature of this competition.
