I'm off to Sri Lanka - can't wait, although I'm having real trouble picturing what the place is going to be like. Normally you form a mental picture of what somewhere's going to be like but this time I can't.

We're going to travel around for about 10 days (elephant hunting and the like) and then we've got four days doing nowt on the beach. And relax....

Sir George, the gruesome irony of hunting elephants with ivory is beyond even my callous behaviour.

My holiday doesn't sound so nice now that its image can be conjured from such penetrations

Have we actually decided on what happens when I inevitably go bankrupt? I quite liked the idea of borrowing cash from DelPiero at loan-shark rates in order to halt the downward spiral (and before I have to raid my virtual kid's virtual university fund to feed my virtual gambling habit...)
