I don't want to start a war but I met the host of this show in Covent Garden and said why don't you have Asian or Black women on your show and her excuse was that "we all looked younger than our years". Sorry to say this but thats just STEREO TYPE rubbish and that some of us are in need of a make over.
I entered this forum to ask the very same question. There isn't a favorable response really is there? Can channel 4 comment? Not only do I watch 10 years younger to see the state some of these women get themselves into and obviusly the remarkable makeovers but also to get some tips and as a black woman I would appreciate some tips on hair/make up and looking/feeling good.
I'm not sure about Asian skin, but I know black skin is thicker, with more collagen than white skin, it's also less affected by sun damage. So although we may eventually get loose skin (probably in our 60's) we tend not to get fine lines or deep wrinkles. This is why you're unlikely to see a black person on 10 years younger. I still love the show, I'll get my beauty tips from Black Beauty magazine.
