Does anyone know of a shampoo that will make my hair and scalp smell gorgeous? I wash mine every other day. When I wash my hair at night it smells gorgeous, but come the next morning, it smells scalpy and generally horrible. I've used Pantene, and Elvive.

You can usually smell head and shoulders on people for days when they've used that.

I use products from Lush, they smell gorgeous and leave your hair (and scalp) smelling really nice until you wash it again.

Thanks x-megzie-x. I think I might go and buy the H&S, although the scent has changed since the 70's. I wonder if you might be able to tell me where I can buy Lush products from and what does the shampoo smell like?

Yeah H&S is probably best for a good shampoo. I only buy lush products for the smells, here's the site, I don't know if theres a store near you. I can't describe the smell but everything really does smell soo nice!

A good trick is to squeeze some lemon juice onto your hair... it doesn’t sound good but you will notice some positive effects after a few days. I remember advising one of my clients to do it once and they laughed at me until they actually tried it.

Wash your hair in the morning instead, it'll be less sweaty too.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I never thought about the lemon, except when I used to put it into my hair to streak it in the sun. I'd love to wash it in the morning, but I have naturally curly hair (which I hate on myself) and it takes ages to straighten and I'll be too knackered to do it so early in the morning (lazy bones that I am!!) LOL.

Try some 'dry' shampoo for days in between when you don't have time to wash it.

Most chemists and Boots sell it, it's called batiste. It's in a green can and you basically spray it on, sort of rub it about and then brush it out. If your hair can gey a bit greasy like mine, it's great to absorb! I think Lee Stafford does a dry one too, but it is more expensive, and i have never tried that one.

There are some really 'fruity' smelling shampoos in the shops...... also you can buy 'hair fragrance' you just spray it into your hair and it smells lovely

Use Herbal Essences! They smell delicious and leave your hair really smooth.
