Anyone with their shiny new DVD MUST check out this easter-egg on there. (There may be more, but this is the only one I've found so far) cool: A quick hint/story to explain how I found it:

Remembering the wonderful L33t subtitles from series 1, I was dead chuffed to see the option again on series 2. I selected them, went to episode guide and chose episode 1....

Aaargh what's this??? The screen fills with crap, flashing repeatedly...what a sight. I try episode 2, then 3 again the same..."Oh no it's faulty!!" I begin to think I then noticed that in amongst the jargon on one it mentions "EasterEgg3.jpg" or something and thought to myself "Hang on a minute...", so continuing on I arrive at episode 6... and what is this that greets me??? Bwah hahaha! I won't spoil it, but it's absolutely legendary!

Sorry to go around the houses, but I wanted to explain that what appears to be a technical fault with subtitles is actually a clever ruse to throw you off the scent of an Easter Egg. Just turn on the Leet, select episode 6, put on your best fake beard and enjoy.

has dvd in hands... so what you are saying is... there's no 1337 subtitles!

since it was 'easteregg3', there must be at least two other eastereggs... (unless they are messing with us)... i think the other 1337 subs may be clues... i'm trying to remember what the 'basic' one said, whither that was easteregg3 or just eggDump...

anyone mad enough to transcribe the text for each episode? no, didn't think so... lol

after the egg on episode six, the eipsode plays with six white lines up at the top right and a black box with some lines at the bottom right. is that normal for the subs or is something wrong?

Yeah I was slightly bemused by the thing in the corner, but I was too busy buzzing at the find to worry about it...Hmmm maybe it needs further investimagation...

not exactly an easteregg.. but how long did you leave the character selection screen?

there's a 'demo mode'.. lol only seen two fights so far... wont say anymore incase you haven't seen yet.

Yeah, saw some of that. Saw Douglas v Vicar. Dead funny what the vicar doing his girly slapping.

i had douglas and the vicar 3/4 of the time.. the other involved moss...

That's why I have 2 PCs, a laptop, a PS2...oh and a DVD player to play DVDs. As an IT person, y'know it's important to have backups.

the desktop plays sound and picture at different speeds, both dvd players are sticky (keeps stopping and starting), haven't tried the laptop yet.. but that's the most likely to take a pure flakey.

although... i have discovered, that if you play the '1337' subtitles version on a normal dvd player, not only does the strange text not come up, but the episodes play normally with no problems...

saw another fight last night, i've counted 3 different ones.. and it was the funniest so far...jen was in this one. so have you seen anymore yet? we should probably use spoiler text to compare notes.

the black box on the 1337 subtitles for episode six... it's the thing the clip before is talking about isn't it? damn! i have not the technology!

I love the 'tetris' menu screen. A bit of geek knowlege: Tetris' originol name was 'russia' so using it fot the russian bit was nerd genius. Seriously i laughed at that more then i did the series itself!

Plus the guy who wrote it was Russian. And because he was in 'communist' Russia when he wrote it he never saw a penny/ruple from the gazillions it made. Shame.

Last I heard he moved to the US to work at MS.

I take it you are all looking for someone mad/sad enough to scribe the entire dvd's purposely destroyed 1337 speak? I am your man!

However, in exchange for doing this, I'll expect you lot to do the translating bit, because I'm pretty sure I'll be warn out by the time I have done this mammoth task.

Also, has anyone else actually made that light reader yet? I am currently searching for the rest of that video, and if I do manage to, I'll be buying a commodore of ebay or amazon, so wish me luck.

for those that didn't see... people are tirelessly working away at this dvd, converting subtitles from images to text for one thing.

The first episode can be translated into a document that shows Moss holding an object. I'm almost done transcribing episode 2 now, and I'll be sure to post it up here.

I'm still looking for that episode at the beggining of series 6 that says you have to make the light detector. Any luck on your lots end?

Still havent figuerd out Grahams blog thing. Maybe its a game? If it is it doesn't work on xbox 360, its not a cd and its not a computer program. Maybe oneday he'll tell us.....
