Where is the continuation of what happened in episode 6 which I think is when Aunt Irma visits and they get really drunk and wakeup in unexpected places?
Imho comedy episodes work best when each one is a complete, separate unit. Continuing story lines degenerate it into a soap opera with jokes...ala Friends and (dare I say it) Only Fools...!

and, haven't you noticed (to all fans of Grownups on BBC) that the second series is one long episode? the stories continue from each episode! self contained episodes are funniest.
