There are so many hilarious quips and funny lines and things that made me howl, that there are just too many to list.... Some good ones have already been covered...but here's a few I like... (there are many more, but I can't think of all of them right now...)
In the office: When Roy, Moss and Jen leave the room when Richmond is talking… Richmond says, “well that’s just bloody rude!”
When Richmond looks into space and raises his hands…. And Roy, Jen etc frown and look puzzled, and look up, trying to see what he is looking at.
Douglas says “First the ordi-nerry-boys, and now this!”
Moss and the German episode: Douglas says “Maybe you can come round and I can give you a back rub and a massage and see what happens etc etc… oh hang on I’ve got this guy coming over to watch a film… Oh and could I have some chicken wings please?!”
Douglas says “WOW, I didn’t know there was a SOUTH Korea”
Roy smacking the copper in the face in the interrogation room when he goes to give away the plot of the zombie movie.
The dinner party episode: Jen says ‘no talking about Memory or RAM!” Moss snorts ‘MEMORY IS RAM! Oh dear….!”
Roy, Moss and Richmond trying to look ‘natural’ at Jen’s dinner party, but looking like they’re pooed themselves.
Jessica at the dinner party: “Ooh ooh here we are… social situations ooh ooh “ (inverted comments in the air…) Here we are “having a connnnversation!”
Alcoholic Margeret who is letching after Moss…”Don’t anyone dare take advantage of me!!! OH GO ON THEN. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Moss: “WHO’S PEDA FILE?” and then the conversation goes on for ages about how Jen’s new boyfriend (Peter File) sounds like ‘paedophile’ Then Moss says “In America they say PEDDA-FILE; maybe you should move there..”
The one with the funeral: (I think it’s called the golden child returns…) The secretary comes in to the meeting and tells Denholm that the police are here to discuss ‘discrepancies in the pension fund’ and he says ‘ok, just makes them a cup of tea will you’, and proceeds to jump out of the window of the 34th floor (or whichever floor it is!)
Moss ‘pimping’ Roy’s phone and it sounds like a kango hammer
Douglas when his phone has been pimped and it’s in his pocket..….’oooh that’s good, oh year oh yeah. Ooh ooh ooh…. NEARLY AT THE STATION!’
Jen (in the one with the red shoes), screaming expletives at the poor Japanese man who accidentally stamps on her foot, and then his translator gently leans forward and starts to translate all the words!
The haunting of Bill Crouch, when the head goes flying across the corridor, and Bill faints…Then when she appears by the lamp post and walks towards the window, terrifying Bill and making him scream and slither backwards along the floor,. Then she presses her face against the window, growling ‘stop telling people you’ve been sleeping with me ’
Jen: "With all due respect John I am head of IT and I have it on good authority if you type 'Google', into Google …. you can break the internet, so please no one try it, even for a joke.”
The works outing when Roy ends up in a wheelchair and Jen goes to get him a drink, and Moss is serving behind the bar. “Can I help you?’
Jen screaming with the devil possessing her and Moss’s glasses shatter (Aunt Irma visits)
When they are trying to think of something to put in a want-ad, and Moss’s says ‘I’m going to MURDER you, you bloody woman!’
God there is so many…. I will see if I can think of some more!
