Yeah, TFT's are no fun because you can't cook food on them, or is it just my 13 year old Acorn CRT that can do that?

ARM 3, What Acorn machine(s) do you have? I have in my time had several beebs, an A3000, A3020 and most recently an A7000, but I think I'm cured now

I thought Roger (later Sophie) Wilson was the real brains behind the Acorn. I believe that he/she created the instruction set for the first ARM single-handedly and it only took two tries to get it working. Oh dear what do I sound like?

I dont know about that... personally I wouldnt claim responsibility for that "A Risc operating system by THURsday" ... a case of "we've developed this great new system, but forgot to develop anything to run on it.

I should point out I dont work in IT Nor am I qualified in IT in anyway... other than a City & Guilds certificate from 12/13 years ago
