Hi all.

I'm a fan since I've seen the first trailer on channel4.
During the show, we can hear an audience and it seems to me that it is recorded live.
So if it is realy 'live', I would realy like to be part of the audience. Anyone got some information about that?

Wish I knew! I've never been to a live recording of anything but I'd absolutely love to go for this.

I phoned TalkbackTHAMES today and they gave me two pieces of information:
-Series 1 is finished
-They don't know yet if they are doing a second series

So I'm prepared to phone again as soon as the second series is planed.

Well, when I said 'finished', I meant the recording sessions are finished. They've done all the episodes of the first series a few month ago. So don't worry, there will be more than 6 episodes, ... I think.

I think the studio work is filmed live via a listening audience, you can see the pause timing as they deliver a line, and in some cases, they fail of course due to the laughter coming in early, or continuing past the next line delivery.

Its great to see a fixed 3 camera POV show like this again, the actors feed off the audience, and vice versa. Something that is lacking in Hyperdrive...

No, I don't think so. I only have series 2 on DVD and about three other episodes recorded off TV, so they're the only ones I've seen time and time again. I think I would remember seeing "To Be Continued" on the last episode of Black Books though. And would be much more outraged with them finishing it...
