Because getting a website means getting a record deal. lol.

Being in a band, I wish it were that easy. Unfortunately, you have to go through all the pains of raising funds to record a half decent demo, promoing your band, promoing your demo, making up a full press pack, sending endless copies of demos to record labels over and over again only to here nothing back be it good or negative, trying to organise gigs, trying to organise better gigs, trying to organise gigs outside of your local area, trying to get new people to listen to you, trying to spread your music to a wider market, trying to make a small name for yourself so that you have some crest to ride on, try and get your music noticed over and beyond allt he imported american dross.

If only all you needed was a website. Sigh. Thing I find sad, and frustrating at the same time, is that Chris and the girls band stand a a far superior chance to getting some form of record contract purely off the laurels of one tv programme, no matter how good or purely s**t they are, and will never have to go through any of the above drama that is facing the UK underground rock and metal scene, because after all, we are all playing the wrong music, int he wrong part, of the wrong fricking country.

I didn't say that website = record deal, but if they can promote themselves plus get an audience for gigs etc. surely they have a better chance of getting signed
