I seem to be on my lonesome here when it comes to Queen. Does anyone else like them?

Sure, my username is Blackened, which is Metallica, but my one love is Queen.

Freddie Mercury is the greatest frontman ever. Thanks to his showstopping performance at Live Aid in '85. I bought that on DVD and pratically binned every DVD except the one with Queen on it.

I've been a Queen fan for damn near 16 years, ever since I saw the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992, which Metallica played at funnily enough.

And they've influenced a shed load of other bands like GnR, Foo Fighters, The Darkness, even hip-hip dude Pharrel Williams says they infuenced him.

So, am I the only Queen fan here?

Freddie Mercury rocked big time - he was indeed a showman, and I would have given anything to go to one of HIS parties!!!

Did you go and see any of the shows they did in the UK last year. I went to the one in Sheffield and that was ace. Brian May is my favourite guitarist.

Did Paul Rogers sing? You enjoyed it?

No, I have never seen Queen live, but my Dad did in the 80's. He was psyched out for at least a week!

Can i poin out that as Freddie Mercury was a bisexual that his parties usually involved the normal things that happen at gay parties, this is how he got AIDS. If you had wanted to go to one of his parties you would have to dress in drag (as a woman).

Not necessarily. He was also a fun loving human being.

And he didnt get AIDS at a party apparently.

I've got all the early 70's LP's. Freddie was indeed a great showman sadly missed. My personal fave album is 'A Night At The Opera'. Razz
