Ok. So far, I have loved the Rock School series, the newest bringing some good young talent to the surface. However, surely if this continued on into series 3 (if there was plans) then it would be the same thing, with different people. The legend that is Gene has a gig already set up for them, and with the newest series, taken people that already have a certain knowledge of the instruments and just made sure he kept them on the straight and narrow to get them to pull off one track at a live show.
So.... How about for series 3, Gene shows us his real talents as a manager, and takes an unknown underground UK band, and trys to break them onto the music scene, not only in the UK but in the US as well, riding not on his namesake, but on the bands skills and his managerial skills. Being in a band myself, I think it makes for an interesting concept, and it will show the public just how much time, hard work and dedication it takes to do such a thing... Along with the trials and tribulations that follow on the way.

The problem with an undergroun=d band is that they would resent Gene trying to replace them.
I dunno like. Id canny resent Gene if id been playing in a band for years, and he tried to replace me with someone else cos he didnt think I was quite good enough.
Besides, it shouldnt be about 'lets get Gene to piss people off' It would just be interesting to see exactly how well he copes trying to get this act of nobodys noticed, and break them into a music scene.

Anyway, to me, one of the attractions of rockschool was Gene actually putting kids in a rock band. I think develeping a band that can already play, or older colledge students in a band is taking away the fun, charm and perhaps challenge for Gene. I think it would be amusing for Gene to try and turn a class full of chavs into rock gods...just me? oh ok, nevermind.

And im afraid, im not that socially mal adjusted... In fact, im quite happy to say that I enjoy quite a full and comprehensive social life, what with being in a band and all, it just doesnt help to be so physically inept with any form of social skills at all. Yeah, I like the idea of all girls/all boys school. But wouldnt it be mroe amusing to get Gene to go to the all girls school, and get the female rocker to go to the all boys school? What kind of school as well. Id say stay well away from the usual strain and go to something like a roman catholic school.... or even a school ran by nuns.... But I dont quite know how many of those there are left in the UK. lol
How about Rock School at a Sunday school? lol. That would be amusing. And im sure Gene would cause plenty offence. lol

Get Gene to have a gig lined up ready with a massive rock band, then get a bunch of 15 year old kids already into alternative music, that already play some form of instrument and generally just keep being a badass with them and keep them on the straight and narrow for four weeks.
