Im gunna have to think about mine for a bit, I will probably have to make a few.

Great topic

I would have to have a few different bands for a few different styles of rock.

1) Blues Rock/Classic Rock

Lead Guitar: Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience)

Bass: John Entwhistle (The Who)

Drums: Keith Moon (The Who)

Vocals: Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)

2) Blues Rock/Classic Rock (again)

Lead Guitar: Slash (GnR)

Rythm Guitar: Malcolm Young (AC/DC)

Bass: John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin)

Drums: John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)

Vocals: Bon Scott (AC/DC)

3) Metal

Lead Guitar: Joe Satriani

Bass: Lemmy (Motorhead)

Drums: Philthy Animal Taylor (Motorhead)

Vocals: Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)

hate to spoil your fun but those bands probably wouldn't be that good, all of the different people have different styles and sounds, for example can you really imagine John Paul Jones making a good team with Slash?

yeah, you dont have to put the greatest of all time or watever, put one you enjoy listening to and make a band out of people that would go good together!

ive done three.

Industrial Kindof Band mix between NIN and early Marilyn Manson stuff!
Vocals - Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
Guitar - Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens Of The Stone Age)
Bass - Twiggy Ramirez (Marilyn Manson)
Drums - Joey Jodison (Slipknot)
Keyboard/Synth - Madonna Wayne Gacy (Marilyn Manson)

That band would rule! and i thnk theyd go really well 2gether!

If I could put together the ultimate supergroup for 2006 I'd have the following:-

Gene Simmons (Bass Guitar & Vocals)
Paul Stanley (Rhythm Giutar & Vocals)
Ace Frehley (Lead Guitar & Vocals)
Peter Criss (Drums & Vocals).

You can't ask for better than that can you? Oh & before I forget I'd call my supergroup 'KISS'. Good idea eh?

Dude did you not hear Slash playing "Hey Joe" at the hall of fame thing? It was hendrix-esque! Slash can adopt to a far more bluesy sound which would fit brilliantly with John Paul Jones.
