How many pple play intruments? I play guitar (an esp ex-50 to be exact), i don't do grades, i am at the stage where i'm writing stuff and working stuff out.
Grades is for losers when rock music is concerned. Being self-taught is a lot better. I used to play huitar until I had a brilliant idea to take it to bits and I've lost the springs which keep the pick-ups down. Also, I'd pretend to be Jimmy Page too often and not practice.
yeah i play the flute too! and piano and a bit of bass and some violin and yeah some others. i hate theory for flute and piano!! but yeah i am teaching myself bass and now a bit of guitar and i tried my friends electric drum kit!!
Ello Ello Billie Joe is soooooooo fit!!! GREENDAY RULE 4EVA!
I play guitar. I do grades for guitar. I have a westfield electric, semi-acoustic, and a blue steel string flok guitar. I am my bands' bassist. I am my ex-bands songwriter (for all guitar, vocal and bass), vocalist and guitarist. I can play drums. I can play piano. I used to play violin.
I'm being honest... Self teaching won't get as good as being taught. Because you never know if you're getting the techniques correct or not. Even though I taught myself piano and drums.

I play guitar, time to list my equipment... I own a Ibanez RG370 DX and a Fender Strat, 2 guitar amps and 3 effect pedals. I love my octave pedal... Mmm.. Gives off such a nice sound... I've been coming up with quite a few great riff ideas lately, i'd love to share them but I'm not allowed to post myspace links.. Bah.. Any how...

I can do about 6 chords.
Taking lessons will help you a lot not just with the physical side but also with the theory. If u dont know the scales and other theory then you are never goin to be a good guitarist. I am a self taught guitarist and my theory sucked as well as my technique until i started to just learn the theory every day. My technique still sucks cos ive never had lessons and that makes it really hard for me to play some advanced stuff.
Guitar Bass Drums Keyboards and Id like to think I can sing but I cant
