Does a show have to 'go' anywhere? I admit it will get tedious in the end, but the only reason I'll stop watching is becouse the jokes are repetative/not funny.
I agree too, but i still ike it. The fact that it doesn't 'go anywhere' appeals to me too, like Lost for example, were waiting for it to go somewhere and it gets annoying in itself, so i like that Earl is just fun to watch.

Hey Craigboy, welcome to the Forums, I noticed you was from the US? where abouts? and what made you join these Forums? you don't get Channel 4/E4 over there lol, anyway enough with the Questions...
I agree with a comment starchick made "Does a show have to 'go' anywhere?" good point I'm enjoying this Show though.

It'll most likely just be cancelled after awhile with him completing everything on the list.
I just noticed that, I probably didn't take much notice to this from reading your post last time round. Anyway the thing is though yes he is crossing things off his list, but he is also adding things to his list, so in reality his list will be endless sort of speak, which only means the show can if it wants, can go on for a long time...

True True, but then again what makes me like this show is what he gets up to on his mission to cross something off his list

Same here, and with the fact I enjoy Jason Lee's acting in general

I'm loving Earl and Randy. I think it's hilarious. I don't really pay much attention to how many things he's crossing off his list. As long as it's funny, I'll watch

True True, as I said above:

yeah wtf?? you guys really aren't getting this are you?
its not all about the destination, the journey itself is whats important.
you say they're not getting anywhere but thats rubbish. every episode they learn a new lesson. its all about Earl and Randy progressing on this journey of self discovery, learning how to live a better life and finding their place in the world.
so completing the list isn't all that matters. its not like he wants to complete it so he can get back to doing bad things again. its about Earl "trying to be a better person".

i couldnt of put that better aswell conduit i do wonder how they are going to end my name is earl but when he does add something he always crosses it off aswell
but i think the last ever episode will be the woman with one leg
It isn't repetitive. It's showing about their journey and what they get up to and what they learn each episode! Like learning how they could only get along with each other.
Fawlty Towers.. what was that about, it was like it was set in a Hotel or something.. Every week Basil was still the manager. It made it unwatchable for me as I realise early on that he was never going to be an Astronaught.
