I watch a comedy to laugh not to see a beginning, middle and end. Maybe what your looking for is a drama of some sort. I tend to disagree that it's not going anywhere too the character development is great. So what he'll never get to the end of his list? If your watching for that your watching for the wrong reasons.

I agree that it isn't going anywhere, but I watch it because it's funny, and a lot better than the cr@p british "comedies" (if you haven't seen them, a word of advice, DON'T).
If it gets repetitive, so be it, it's still one of the best things on the telly.

Well, good American ones at the moment watching I am My Name Is Earl, Home Improvement, Curb Your Enthusiasm, British ones am I watching Peep Show, Never The Twain, Eastenders. If you don't like it there's always BBC 24 hour news to watch or you could just go out.
I think that My Name Is Earl has a brilliant storyline and the cast is fantastic. The story-line isn't really intended to go anywhere, in my opinion. But then again what story-line has to go anywhere? x

Earl is great fun, like most shows it will run out of steam and viewers will drift away. Lost has lost me already, I did expect that to go somewhere and come to a conclusion. I have very quicly lost interest.
