It's a shame there won't be another series, but I think the reason GP flopped is because the first episode was very weak. I was really looking forward to GP, but I didn't even bother watching the second episode because the first was so poor. Howevr, I tuned in again for the third show and I was immediately hooked. The series got better and better as it went on, but by then the damage to the ratings was done.

it got so much better with each episode
also i think it was advertised towards the wrong croud. it was aiming more to the "footballers wives" fans, but this series was unique. i think a lot of FW fans who saw it were dissapointed, but others loved it! also i think it should have been advertised that Lisa Stansfield was in it and Clare Higgins, they have a massive fanbase each and i know fans who woudl watch entire series just to see the one or two parts they appeared in, but their parts were kept a secret until the week they aired!

I watched and really enjoyed forst 3 episodes but didn't get to see last few as dvd recorder broke!!Also they kept moving times around in our region (s4C)I also think it was aimed at the wrong crowd, much more dramatic than Footballers wives which I wouldn't watch in a million years!the actors in it were great too. If it comes out on DVD I'll buy it.
