woah! i was really spooked watching cape wrath last night!

it was really eerie, bit like twin peaks but with a decent story line!

i really wanted to stay up to watch the next part on E4 but i chickened out, so i'll watch it next week....i too am dying to know why are they there???? i think they chose the cast really well, anyone know where it was filmed etc? the houses are very much in the style of Faroese/Icelandic houses etc.

I think it was filmed in Kent somewhere. It looks more like a film set than a real place but people do actually live there.

Can't belivfe they killed off Jack already! He was definitely my favourite character but looking forward to the next episode anyway!!

Jack is played by Tom Hardy who also appeared in Elizabeth with Ann Marie Duff (Shameless). He is absolutely gorgeous and will be a shame if his character is gone for good

The first 20 mins were boring me, then I got into it, and in the end I had to turn over to e4 for episode 2.
It has already been shown in the USA, I hope that it gets a second series.
That guy who was Jack of all trades couldn't act for toffee. I couldn't understnad a word he said.

i couldn't figure out jack accent? no matter tho, my god i jumped out o me skin in the scene with him and jez on the bench! after that bit i wasn't bothered what his accent was!

..what have i seen the doctors wife in before? she looks familiar...and why is the dr/wife in meadowlands? any thoughts? dr is def spooky!

Jack's accent seemed to switch between American and Irish. Not sure why as the actor is British (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

And the doctor was so stalkerish .. she shouldn't have trusted him.
The doctor's wife is called Emma Davies .. and she does look familiar. But I can't place her.

My ears detected a regional English accent. There wasn't a hint of an American or Irish accent. It was very clear.

What region of England? I've never heard an English accent like that before. I thought he was meant to be Irish at the start of the episode, then his accent started sounding American towards the end. Only my opinion though.

I thought he sounded slightly West country.

The houses look just like the new development at Leybourne Lakes in Kent, near West Malling. All clapperboard. Someone else said it was filmed in Kent, maybe it was there.

think people are missing the point, Tom was playing it so Jack was hard to understand. He speaks perfectly normally really!

Wasn't sure if I would like Cape Wrath or not, but it really got me. Watched both the c4 & E4 eps.

Bit confusing that eps 1 & 2 were shown as one though, lot of confusion with US viewers cos to them Jack died at the end of ep 2.
