recently i have been told that no angels is finished for good after this series! Apparently they were on richard n judy n said they dont want 2 film anymore however i saw them on t4 n they said they love doing the show n hope 2 make lots more. does antone know if either of these is true? xxk8xx
The reason for the cancellation of the series is a matter of some conjecture. All signs suggest that it was cancelled by Channel 4, not by World Productions.

The real reason is not clear, but I don't think that Series Two scored as highly in the ratings as Channel 4 hoped so they made an early decision to pull the plug. It is noticable just how little promotion this final series has received though: It has been practically unadvertised throughout and before, hence so many fans if the show missed episodes and were not aware that it is the finalm series. It's like Channel 4 have swept it under the carpet.
I agree this show has been really under-advertised. I don't understand it really, when there's a "funny" clip from the Green Wing approximately every 10 seconds and constant reminders about how much we're sooo excited about the return of 'Lost' (I'm not)
The Lost obsession is getting ridiculous. I enjoy the show, but it's not some cultural phenomenon, for Christ's sake! There have been suggestions that the cancellation of No Angels may not have been Channel 4's decision, but came because the four leads refused to sign up for a fourth series. That could explain the lack of promotion, as the show will have been seen by Channel 4 as a lost cause and thus simply eight weeks of filler, which is exactly how they treated it.
I would not be surprised if the actors wanted to move on (I actually think it's better to leave people wanting more then to let them get bored). But even if a show is only going to be on for one series more, I would have thought that it would make sense for the channel to want to maximise the ratings for that series?
I'm gonna miss it so much, its like the end of an era! knowing the girls all this time, going through their experiences, its like you really know them and its like losing a good set of friends, great set of actresses and I wish them all the best in any future work!
Oh my god... No more No Angels? You gota be kidding. I lurve that show. SOOO much. I remember seeing them filming in Leeds. It's such a good exapmle of how a nurses' private life is lived! Hehe. BRING BK NO ANGELS!!! PURRRLLLEASE!
