I have just seen BOY-A drama nd i believe it is by far the best thing I have seen this season. Television to excite you, make you feel, cry and give you tons of food for thought. i particyulry enjoyed Jack's performance and I think he is to be a hell of an acting satr. Congradulationt to channel 4 - looking forward to the next big hit drama!
thought 'jack''s outing by the press and reactions of other characters would be main part of the show but it was minor plot twist. wanted the show to deal with the issues of the real boys grown up and with new identities and what would happen if the world knew where/who they were.
I think what the show was about is how people can be deprived of any real "second chance" from a world that does not forgive. I don't beleive forigiving is part of human nature, thus being a super-human feature. That is why i beleive it is so great to be able to forgive. I also think ths show had an essence a real good greek tragedy: no escape-exit, no going-back, just the brutal torment life in reality is.
I thought Boy A was fantastic & it certainly made me think about my beliefs on such matters! Having said that, if it were my child murdered, I'd not want their killer/s alive let alone free! Is it going to shown again? I really want to watch it again.

mate, if your child were murdered, you would never gonna judge the man who did it. That is this fundamental idea of modern justice. ... It is what makes western civilasation what it is today...
I loved it! Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor, one to watch out for I think. I loved the way that I constantly fought two conflicting emotions throughout the whole film; sympathy and anger. I think sympathy for jack won out in the end. But can someone clear up what happened at the end? Him seeing his girlfriend was an illusion right? And where did she disappear to when he couldnt get hold of her? Also, did he kill himself in the end??
