more like they don't have permission to air them

Permission from whom? It just does not make sense to show less than half of a series, this is the sort of thing ITV do when something isn't getting the ratings they hoped for.

I just don't understand. How can channel 4 keep doing this and get away with it? It’s bloody ridiculous. The amount of shows they have done this to is just unacceptable. We’d all be better off not watching channel 4 at all, because at some point, our favourite shows will only be cut short.
