That is so disapointing! Commercially understandable, but so disapointing.
Personally, I thought it was as good as LOST - and at least if you didn't catch the last episode, you could pick the story line up easily.
LOST is more like a modern day version of the Prisoner - with technology and violence. The Closer was a good crime series - as good as CSI, and more human.less techy.
I think Ch4 got the slot wrong. The Closer is excellent - best from America for a while

According to this weeks R.T C4 are saying the series will be shown in full on More4 next year. It was pulled as it only attracted around 1 million viewers.

Good to read The Closer is on air again on More 4 Thursday 19 Jan 9.00pm.
Does anyone know if the first few episodes from last Autumn will be shown at the beginning.
I regard The Closer as Cult TV AND MUST NOT BE MISSED!

I saw this show for the first time on Thursday and was blown away by Kyra Sedgwick's marvellous acting. A great procedural ... and this is coming from someone who hates most police dramas

I managed to see last weeks episode with Richard Rowntree and thought I had missed a load of episodes. I then watched this weeks and was relieved to find out that I had seen it on 4 when it was first screened. I too was upset when it was taken off and have been reading all the tv listings to find out what happened. They did the same thing with Homicide Life on the Streets too - moving it further down the schedule until it disappeared altogether!!
