Hey taz – glad you’re enjoying the eps, they are great viewing after a hard day’s work!! And if you’re surprised that dk and faith are married you will not believe me when I tell you who played cupid and actually set them both up…………….jason wiles aka BOSCO!! Apparently He was talking to dk on set one day and mentioned to him that molly had been ‘checking him out’ – and the rest is history!! Cute, huh?! And I agree with you about the ‘quirky’ bits they add to serious situations – it’s quite refreshing for a show that does deal with so many heavy issues.

hey happy - in answer to your defence of bos, i dont think i was condemning him for being unconcerned by that woman. in fact he persuaded me that he cared more than most when he said to faith 'how many people do we know that would give anything to be breathing right now'. but i did feel he acted like a jerk - checking his watch, calling her a paperweight - but that's bos, and i wouldnt have him any other way.

Cant agree with you more happy!Especially with the way jimmy dealt with his son breakin his arm and that kid in the fire in today's ep !!At least he sees sense at the end of the ep...but wot a git!!But he gets much more mature as the series' go on,just like evryone else i guess!

I was totally blundered about the lego thing too!Loved boscos response,though!How watchin films was his way of readin "great" books!!

‘TRANSFORMED’

great jimmy episode - despite the fact that Jimmy’s character is actually probably the least attractive to me- he only improved on me by season 5 when he finally grew up- eddie cibrian did an excellent job.

Oh, and fresh meat alert ladies!!! Newbie Prescott was pretty cute, and I loved that he gave as good as he got to alex – loved the way he called her ‘darling’ to irritate her! The scene where he was talking about her dad was moving too, and it was a nice touch to give her a little ‘closure’ by having her know he was proud of her.

favourite bos moment: the deep and meaningful with faith was so heart-warming. Sometimes I wish they would just hug it out…but I guess bos’s idea of doing that is ‘to go roust somebody’ - which works too I guess!?

Yeah,Prescott is pretty damn fine!!Bosco still luvliest though!He is just so funny with the way he goes on about how bad geesler is at "the paperwork" and how faith says his best asset is his eagerness!Poor geesler,he's got nothin goin for him!!

Boscos compassion was boilin over with the crackhead who went all epiletic on him...believe his comment was somethin along the lines of please bring him back cos the paperwork would take 6 months to complete if he died in the house!!God he's lovely when he gets all agitated!!lol!

By the way "thirdwatchers" in today's daily mirror their tv critic jim shelley says "third watch/without a trace(ch4)" daytime tv per excellence-pity ch4 didn't show the "watch" as much respect over the years.

also thank you aido for posting the info about the daily mirror. it's surprising that it's been mentioned in a national newspaper - and the journalist is right. this show could have been huge had c4 given it a fair chance.

‘OLD DOGS, NEW TRICKS’

Of course this was a carlos episode and his ones always seem to stand out that little bit more – remember the one where he and bos go to anger management?!

Anyway, onto the ep:

Im a girl - but even I cant scream in the pitch carlos managed after falling off that fire-pole… Loved that they TAPED carlos to the board. Even his head. And kim’s imitation of carlos: ‘CALL 911’ - just about stole the episode!!

Carlos trying to hold onto Doc - and them all in unison saying ‘NO’ when the doctor asks if he can trust Carlos. Carlos completely unsympathetically slapping that drunk on the shoulder. Carlos in the shortest robe I’ve ever seen. Carlos. Just being Carlos.

I must have seen this episode about five times, and I still laugh all the way through.

Some short (but sweet) bosco/faith moments too:

Faith: ‘don’t you ever have to pee?’ – and how cute is he? Clinging to that barrier muttering to himself?!

Bosco: are you satisfied?
Faith: im all tingly with satisfaction. – yup. Bosco tends to have that effect on women, faith.

Faith: is he prompt?
Dealer: well we are drug dealers, ma’am.

I love it when bosco gets mad. You can ‘make me turn around’ anytime Officer Mo’.

Aw boscoslady...me and my bruv sat and watched it last night and man did we laugh!!When Carlos screams like a 2 yr old girl as the kids come up to him is priceless!The ending was FAB!The way Carlos eventually gets his woman through acts of pure fate!Brilliant!

Today's episode was great!Very at the edge of your seat stuff! When Bosco tells faith that she must've been a guy in a previous life just cracked me up! Carlos and his relentless comments about the skinny white chick in ty's room with no ass and alex responds with him not having an ass at all, his back just goes all the way to his legs..brilliant!

And poor bosco..he just cant get it right!Why cant he admit that sometimes(most times)he's wrong and listen to what the rest tell him!Mind you if he did that, third watch would probably be tripe!!

Hey taz – yeah, i felt so sad for bos today. it's a wonder He didnt sense hobart had very serious problems... and loved all those moments you mentioned in those eps!!

‘THE LONG GUNS’

I liked that they started the epi in reverse – gave it an interesting feel.

It feels like we haven’t seen bosco run in ages, and it’s just as beautiful as I remember it. You know if it weren’t for the great acting and writing, Im not ashamed to say that I could easily watch this show just for the men in uniform, running and hosing down fires….

I loved the way he tried to kiss his mum – he’s adorable when he’s around his ma’.

He can bench press 300?!........ I bet he gets real sweaty when he does that. He maybe even needs a soak in the bath-tub after – now that’s a scene I’d love to see - but no such luck, since we get fred and faith. They should consider putting up warnings before they show those scenes…I almost up-chucked my breakfast.

That old woman making carlos ‘cup’ her was so funny.

That guy in the booth at the back of the shop asking bos and faith to see their badges and faith responding ‘shoot him’. I love her.

Bosco’s face when he finds Flat Stanley and his line ‘You know what this makes me think of? Birth control.’ I LOVE him.

Alex to Carlos: now you know, we’re gonna do it with the door open. - Sometimes I really feel for carlos.

And LOVELY (if all-too brief) glimpse of those arms at the end.

Jason wiles was fantastic in this episode. Especially the end - his anger and hurt was perfect and so sad.

‘COLD FRONT’

again, I felt all the memorable moments were with carlos in this ep:

on the phone doing an, I guess, British accent?! - How he thinks that will help him get Nurse Tammy’s number I have no clue!!
And then falling on his butt and going ‘what is this? Ice?’
and last but not least, having to share body heat with the Ice Woman.....at least Nurse Tammy was on hand at the end to thaw out anything that may have been frost-bitten…..

And there’s more newbie Prescott – yum!!

Again not much bosco – he was being kind of passive aggressive today though, right? He was short with Lt. Johnson and then completely non-confrontational with the drunk, which was so unlike him…personally I cant wait till he snaps out of it….i need the mean and sarcastic Bosco back.

also, to let you guys know, jason wiles has got a part in a new show called 'the commuters'. it sounds interesting and also stars david arquette - aka mr courtney cox....

i have been recording this weeks eps,got mondays,tuesdays and thursdays one,and ill get todays (friday) but the VCR got messed up and i missed wednesdays one.

anyway i watched 2 of them today,the one about jimmy and then the one about carlos,that was so damn funny.i havnt laughed so hard at a drama in a long time! him falling down the poll,screaming at the kids thinking they were midgets or somthing,the whole thing with the drunk and then the end where it seems like he is talking about the thing with Doc,but it was actually him getting it on with the nurse!lol carlos is great,he is the comic relief!

damn i forgot to record todays one! its so damn annoying the time its at.i usually remember because im up early for college but i have no college on fridays so i sleep in and i forgot to record it again! thats combined with C4 skipping eps Im losing track of whats going on.

Aww honey, you gotta get an alarm clock. if it helps, you didnt miss too much in today's epi - since channel 4 ruined it with their inane and horriffic editing 'skills'. oh and i love that carlos epi too, definitely one of the best epi's from series 3.

ive just finished watching all of season 3, uncut. i didnt realise what job they did of butchering the shootout at the restaurant. the episode where bosco goes to cry at faith's - sorry but how could she resist him? this is not realistic! fred or bosco? exactly!

and this may be contraversial but as im rewatching im realising just how much i dislike doc!

Hey fellow Bosco fans! how are you all??? I've been purposely staying off this thread because I taped all the Season 3 eps c4 have been showing, but I haven't had much chance to watch them, still behind on this weeks eps, but looks like its a marathon viewing over the weekend.

How great is TW, I don't know why but every episode I have tears in my eyes, maybe there is something wrong with me but the drama of TW makes me emotional.

Poor Bos when he almost gets killed by that guy who was in OZ because Faith is lagging behind. I felt bad for her because she was sick from the chemo, but if I hadn't seen Season 4 and 5 I would have got a little worried for our Bosco.

And I'm back loving Jimmy, how can you say no to those dimples, that man is toooo good looking. And I'm appreciating the comedic side of Carlos much more, I couldn't stand him before, but now I think he's cute in a funny way, my tolerance levels must have risen over the last couple of years - same thing with Bos,now appreciate how hot he is, even if he can be an inconsiderate jerk sometimes - Faith and the medicine, typical old-style Bos , but I still like him!

Oh yeah, one thing that has seriously 'annoyed' me (for lack of a stronger word ) is the missing episodes, its hard to follow whats going on - I want to see how Alex made the decision to go back to the paramedics, how Kim decided she wanted to go back to work etc, its seriously annoying, as is the editing of the eps they are showing . Happy Rainbow you are lucky that you have seen it all uncut - did you download them? I think I'm going to give it a go.

And btw, no Faith and Bosco hook ups!!! No matter what circumstances or how irresistible Bos is, its just not right , although I agree with you on Doc, I stopped liking him when he broke up with the Doctor girlfriend, although S1 I liked him a lot and he was one of my fav characters.

I think that ep showed why alex stayed with the paramedics,she had a thing going with Kim and was going to Bobby's grave with her.

anyway how did he die,i never saw the character,also the 1st ep of season 3,how did they do that with the 9/11 thing?did they go down to the towers and show some set dressed like the towers or what?
