Yeah Taz Scotland was excellent. very nice. Trap door - I used to be intrigued with that but I still used to like watching it. Cringer, yes I think I remember, sounds very familiar - what kind of names are these?  You know what, I'm ashamed to say I used to watch Power Rangers  - just the first few seasons, after that it just got more stupid (yeah more stupid than before ) In my defence I was still young and I think they reminded me of Transformers - but power rangers were the in-thing for a while. I know sad. Sponge Bob - is ok, but its very hyped up, maybe I'm just not 'getting it'! but I guess if Mr Wiles likes it then it can't be too bad. |

Just to quickly add to your sing a long Fi "We're the planeteers,you can be one to,cos saving our planet is the thing to do!(i hope your singin,cant hear ya!!)Lootin and pollutin is NOT the way,here wot captain planet has to say!!!!AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!I cant believe I can remember that!!!Thats SHOCKIN,I'm SSOO SAD!!!And to add to the sadness,I too watched the first series of power rangers!!Loved the red one!!(Jason was his name.i think)  No i'm sorry but Tom and Brad as vampires with long hair were LOVELY!!kept me watchin,even though films like that terrify me!!But,Brad Bosco,Keanu and eh..ORLANDO are LOVELIER with short locks!!mmmmmm!!I went thru a phase of lovin Bill outa Bill and Ted for ages,and lookin back on it,I don't know what I was thinkin!!!  |

lol! You really remember most of the song, thats great! Yep I'm singing along too...my sis has a dance to that song too  haha! funny story - she did it in public, no shame, she was proud! I remember Red Ranger, lol! I also remember Green Ranger - wasn't his name Tommy or something - had a green candle? (ok I've just revealed that I watched a whole lot more power rangers that I originally let on ) And its got to be Bosco with short hair all the time - could you imagine Jimmy with long hair!!! No. |

invasion with eddie cibrian is commming in uk tv in the new year. did i mention he is a park ranger!
actually i never found him attractive in the early seasons at the time because of his actions, but because i know how he changes when i've rewatched them i think he is!
are there any other characters that you lot changed opinions on? (anyone want to reveal their secret sully obsession!)
never a big cartoon fan, but used to like top cat, which the bbc insisted on calling boss cat due to a cat food of the same name. so every time it was on the announcer would say "now its boss cat" and the theme tune would kick in "top cat!"

I remember Top Cat/Boss Cat! I wasn't clued up on why there were two names as such, just vaguely remember it being strange. And Taz to up our sing along(everyone invited to join in) I've got a more complex tune that will stretch our vocal talents even further - remember the theme tune to Trap Door "Dont you open that trap doooor, coz there's something down there" "wooo hooo, yeah" (I just added that for effect) You need to sing that like you are a soul diva, phew lucky my voice is up to the challenge - well as I did mention before I have 'vocal injuries' (cough*sore throat*cough) |

Funny you should mention this. Thats exactly what I feel about Bosco - the guy annoyed the hell out of me in the early seasons - but seeing him in season 5 (and more recently in 4) he really grew up - especially dealing with his brother's mess and everything. I liked Jimmy from the beginning but its true - he was a 'poo' in the beginning- but a hot one, err, not a steaming pile but a good looking man, ok I'll leave that alone now, just digging deeper But I thought Ty was really great, an all rounder, good looks, intelligent and a nice guy - the type you can bring home and your mum will say "he's a keeper!" But I've gone off him in later seasons- replaced with the well used and improved Bosco! And about your long hair and guys question - I have thought of one that I prefer with long hair (amazing...) Jared Leto! I had a major crush on him in My So Called Life - another great c4 show, you think they would repeat stuff like this on E4, even in the early hours. |

I like it short, Tom in Mission Impossible, Bosco, S4 and 5 and Keanu Reeves in Speed - yep that was a good one - totally shrugged of the 'Bill and Ted' vibe for me - good job Keanu!
lol! most people have the same as reaction as you to that and ordinarily i would agree about short hair being better, but there was something about mr cruise in that film with that goth thing he had going on!! but i also loved jared leto in my so-called life, that was a brilliant show, and he still is freakishly handsome.

power rangers - i watched it too actually! but i feel for those who only had the rangers and missed out on classics like captain planet and topcat/boss cat. anyone rememeber the jetson's? i think it was about a family who lived in space or something - that was a minor classic i think because not many people know of it. i cant believe you ladies remember the songs!! that is so cool! but i wont sing-a-long - my voice is not so much soul diva, more bjork unfortunately!

i cant believe you saw my so called life - i still have the eps on tape. i cant believe they cancelled this show. and jared leto was a god in it! and was the exception to the long hair rule!
my problem with ty is that he always gave the impression of being a keeper, but really was just going from one woman to another. do you remember when he talked his way back into an ex girlfriend's house, then left her next morning. at least with bosco they knew where they stood.

Did anyone else catch that random episode of TW this morning? I didn't even realise it was on and I was sleeping. I then heard Bosco's voice talking to me - something about how he didn't mind going to prison as long as he took me down with him, - I then realised that it wasn't a dream, Bosco doesn't say things like that to me in my dreams - my bedroom TV was on and he was talking to  , aka Cruz . I shot up out of bed to get the tape on, like 'Action Stations!' - My other half thinks I'm a bit loopy - not providing any assistance whatsoever, useless. But then I realised that this was just a random episode - it did not follow on to what I had so I stopped looking for the tape and just watched it - have seen that one before - think it was a season 5 ep. Was a good ep today but C4 could you please at least have some method to your madness (mad not to be showing TW on a regular basis at a good time) - and show the eps in sequence? |

I caught the last 10 mins of it,only cos I was channel hopping!!Ah,the man is just pure sex on legs..is he not?!!! Anyhoo, wot a lot of reading in the forum today!I hated jimmy at the start,but after he got shot he changed!n he slowly turned into the all american hero!!brill!I watched ep 1 of season 6 last night,its just so good,why cant channel 4 put it on!!  The trap door tune spinnin round and round in ma heed,lovin it!!did any one watch the poddington peas?i was never a great jetsons fan,i always remember racing home from school to watch black beauty,cos i'm mad keen on horses!! |

Tom Cruise doesn't look too bad in that film - must be the whole vampire thing I'm not liking - but he is a good looker - more Angel than Spike, so vampire or not - he is still hot I loved the Jetsons! I thought by the time I was this age we would be able to live in space , thought, ride around the galaxy in my cool bubble car, go to the shopping malls across the universe  Guess we are not that advanced yet. Yes I used to love My So Called Life - was one of my faves, I have a couple of randoms eps somewhere. But that was a classic, should have gone on for much longer than it did, one of the best teen dramas ever - while I liked and Dawson's Creek, OTH, OC - My So Called Life was a cut above them - although perhaps its not fair to compare them - MSCL was a bit darker. To this day I think that was Claire Danes best role. |

i agree, she won an emmy for it, and she was only 15! years ago they reshowed it on ch4 one summer so i got the whole season, i keep trying to see if its available in us on dvd but its like $150, a bit more than im willing to pay!

i didnt know ms danes won an emmy for that show; she was excellent as everyone has said. although i know i wouldnt have found it too difficult to play the part of a lovestruck teen with mr leto smouldering so wonderfully well....  i only caught the last half an hour of that tw episode, and since i am rationing my season 6, i hadnt seen bosco in a while. i realised then that i was a fool. i didn't realise how much i missed his voice and swagger!! and that line: 'i'll be your knight in shining armour' was really good to hear wasnt it?! fi - my reaction was just as manic as yours; i was frantically searching for a blank video until i realised the ep was one i already had! i wish channel four would get their act together. im surprised a few of you remembered the jetsons!! i was certain that the future would be like that cartoon!! anyone also been watching the 'superman' re-runs with teri hatcher? i've been so surprised at how cheesy they were - still cant stop watching them though!

$150 for My So-Called Life on DVD If I had known it would be a collectors item I would have taped them properly - I think I have about two eps somewhere. But that is a lot of money and I don't even think that many eps were made. I thought the Jetsons were quite a popular cartoon - most of my friends watched it - its not like COPS (I have yet to find one person who remembers this, other than my sis, but we watched it together so she cannot pretend! ) I remember the Teri Hatcher/Dean Cain Superman - that used to be a staple of my Saturday night viewing I just laugh at how the glasses fooled her - I think they even make a joke of this later in the series when she eventually does realise. But I haven't noiced the reruns on TV. Its got to the stage where I think I will give up trying to tape TW (well in a format to keep) - whats the point? - they are all over the place - I was hoping that if C4 start that new digital channel (more4?) then they will repeat shows like TW. Or maybe C5 will take it off them and buy season 6 - heres hoping! |

unfortunately they have just stopped the superman re-runs - i think they were a summer holiday filler. i also remembered that they changed the actor that played jimmy in the second season which i never understood. and clark's 'disguise' *sigh* - the magic of tv!! also c4suck has posted that the tw repeats return on 13th september. so vcr's at the ready!

jason wiles watch! for anyone with sky one, they are repeating daily beverley hills 90210. they are up to season 5, and jason appears in season 6. at the rate they are going i think it will be on in a month. i will alert when i think its on! he plays an artist, fortunately not modeling the long hair a la bon jovi video.
did anyone see law and order special victims unit last night? i like to tape it and watch it with my breakfast (a strange choice i know) anyway bobby from third watch was in it. he is in a lot of stuff!

Yeah I saw Law and Order SVU last night and noticed Bobby in it too - SVU also has a lot of former OZ characters in (Bobby being one of them also) - I think I prefer it to the original Law and Order (since Benjamin Bratt left) - but not better than Criminal Intent, although all three are good. Don't know if someone mentioned it before but Bobby is also in Kingpin- been watching that as it comes on before OZ so I just set the tape earlier - and I think its quite good, does anyone else watch it? - why its on at 2am I don't know |
