The Sopranos is one of the finest shows on tv ever! Its terrible how channel 4 and E4 have treated the show. The time slot always changed and it was shown so late at night. The new advert for season 6 is a joke and no ones laughing. What the hell were they thinking people new to the show wouldnt know what the heck it was about! I just hope they keep the 10 pm time slot and the repeat on sunday its already annoying watching it on tv due to adverts etc. Any way one of my fave characters is Paulie hes always good for a laugh for instance the "Pine Barrens" episode all they had to do was pick up the money...

I guess it won't be on C4 until it has run it's course on E4.

you would think it would say somewhere on this site, but then this IS channel 4 we talking about so i'm not really surprised by the lack of accurate info

It was great. It's been so long away, though, I can't even remember how Carmela got back with Tony.

Better (but only marginally though) was The Sopranos' "Members Only". Having seen most of this season on Irish TV, I can say that while previous seasons have been better the first three episodes along with 6x06 and 6x11 are personal highlights for me (though 6x11 "Cold Stones" is one that will maske your blood boil).

What did I like about "Members Only" - the opening scene actually with Carmela dreaming a conversation with Adrianna, Vito modelling bigger pants for a Thin Club, Meadow dancing for her boyfriend. Even idiotic AJ was tolerable. The end scene was shocking though I doubt Tony is a goner. In fact he's not! And the cool opening talky song which is called ...

seriously, did you have to tell us that he isnt a goner, i hate when things get ruined like that. *sigh*

Without sounding too much like a moaning bar steward, hate people acting the big shot because they've already seen episodes. Was enjoying reading his views on the series until subtle little things were dropped in there.."6x11 will make your blood boil" and "in fact he isn't goner", that really knarks me as a massive fan of the show. I've gone, i dont know the exact time, something like 4-5months without reading a bean about series 6. And then numb nuts, doesn't matter that they're minute things, ruins all my patient waiting.
In future people, if you've happened to see episodes before others, don't blab about it. I not be on here after it's finished on E4 dropping hints, yeh i might say i enjoyed or disliked the series as a whole, but i'll let people, who only have channel 4, wait patiently like I have been doing this year.

I agree with the_anomaly it is 1 of the finest shows on TV. and now series six has started on UK TV i am in my element. I brought series 1-5 boxsets on DVD and effectivly watched them back to back. got to the end of them and thought dam it series 6 is'nt around, and have had to wait bloody months. I love this show!
