Am I the only one that doesn't trust Wikipedia? Wikipedia is unreliable, because the site is editable. For all we know this could simply be a red herring so that obsessive fans don't flock to Brighton and making filming hell. Plus the source of this announcement is in " TVeasy magazine, 14-20 October 2006." which could simply be inaccurate gossip. I've yet to see anything 'official' regarding SR and cancellation and until I do - Season 3 will be filmed and broadcasted next year.

Well I don't know...all I know is what I'm told and if it wasn't true then in my opinion ch4 would deny it...
don't take my word for it, phone ch4 and ask them! The number is on the contact us page of this site.
Here's a copy of the email I received off ch 4 today...very cleverly, although I asked them about series 3 of SR they neglected to put that in the answer! _____________________________________________

I can promise you that I have not made this up and if they do show the new series then I got it wrong but if they don't show series 3 (as I suspect) then remember...I did try to warn you all!

so doesnt it mean that they're waiting for shooting news and stuff so that they can confirm there is anoher series?
i mean, we dont know what's happening behind the curtains. mayve they're having discussions with shine or the actors or whatever concerning money, or maybe they didnt decide when it would be shot yet. or even, their program fro june is already completed so that there's no room left for SR programmation yet...
i dont know, i just cant quite believe its over. im trying to understand. cancelling such a successful show seems stupid to me, not only coz of all the disappointed fans, but because it prolly brings them lots of money and all.
why would they cancell it???
maibe if they keep on saying its cancelled but its a false info, we'll talk about the show and then when its aired there'll be more viewers... maybe its just some tactical announce...

wasnt there sum info a while back on tha main SR forum bout sweries 3 that sum1 had found on a sarah-jane potts website or sumfin, which said that there wud be bad news for saint fansd when series 3 comes around, an that series3 wud be a lot more hard-hitting ??????? did NE1 else see that, or was i juss imaginin it???? so at tha mo, i is well confused !!!!!!!!!!!!!, bot if there is toi be no series 3, then at least maybe there cud be a one-hour special or sumfin, juss to tie evryfin up between tha three girlz, an round it off....wud be a shame to leave things as they are when theres so much more potential, mefinks....

I posted a question on the ask Channel 4 forum and got this reply. Obviously keeping to the official line- but it's early days yet- and they could just be playing with our minds!!!!

i phones up Shine Productions yesterd, woz told by a womam that Shine are talkin bout a third series at thga mo (Nov.016) an that they will make n offic. statment on their website when sumfin's bin decid., one way or anuva.........so there's still hope!!!!! hope this helps!!!!!!!
That's something to look forward to, Simone. I phoned Shine and they told me they had no plans for a 3rd series but if it wins the Emmy (results on Nov 20th) they may just change their mind, nothing definate though!
they will keep it under wraps until about the monday and it will be aired on the wednesday or sumthing because if we keep on guessing and stuff then there is a lot of speculation wihich brings in publicity and sugar rush is a huge money spinner. they wont cancel it. if they do another channel will grab it like five or something. happy days xxx

Not official, but http://sugarrush.0catch.com will soon be uodates with series 3 news, as well as details of the show's International emmy nomination - also got series 1 musuc listings

They're up for an emmy??? Do tell!! I've been on the emmys official site but there's no info on there... what are they nominated for?? i didnt even no it was aired in america...?!
Sugar Rush isn't in the AMERICAN EMMY awards, but the INTERNATIONAL EMMY awards for best 'Children & Young People'. Only 4 nominees (SR included) and no competition

absolutely!!!!!!!!! after all how can C4 claim that the series is "endin on a high" when evryfin's still to be decided between kim , saint n sugs an there's still so many isssues wiv kim's family an the baby an stella n nathans marriage....i fink that series 2 ended on more of a cliffhanger than series 1 did, so tha way it was left, it woz obvios that a third series was planned...i reckons, series 3 will be made but C4 wont show it, insted sum ovver chanel will..juss luk at wot Sugr Rush has done for Shine Ltd, they would be MENTAL not to make at least one more series.....

i think they will be a SR season 3 casue if you look at the interviews on the suagr rush seaosn 2 dvd kim says 'thats not it...you havent herd the last of kim and sugar...then she raised her eyebrows and smiled....so i reckon they will be a season 3 otehrwise what would make er think of saying its not the end of kim and sugar
Sugar Rush 3 will be in air on may next year. Sarah Jane Potts said in a interview with terra's website that maybe Kim is too young to take that life and... maybe the relationship doesn't work.
Personally I think that sugar&kim will be together...remember: SUGAR Rush...
