Yeah, the long pause and that little gulp he makes, as if thinking, "It's now or never." I LOVE that they are also equal in it...neither one taking over, both with the hands and the leaning and so on.... and both taking a moment to think before jumping in!

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Spoiler space * * * * * * * * * * * * I've just seen the clip of Election Part 1. YIIIPEEEEEE!!!!!!! Is it me, or does Josh go from "stressed-out" to "chilled-out-I'm-so-da-man!" between those scenes. It almost brings back the previous election when Donna made that "pumpkin patch, is there anything I can do to get you to go to the movies for 8 hours" statement. All I can say is that I guess she found something better to calm him down.  On a slightly different note, I also have to say, that I was pleased with the clip of Josh and Santos - did anyone else feel that there was a hint of him growing into Leo's role as COS? Calm. In control. Giving sound advice. It's good to see and Josh deserves some vindication for the treatment he's had since Sorkin left. But back to the naked in bed thing...How happy am I tonight!?!?!?!?!? I just hope we get to see how it happened, and that there's some genuinely tender moments. I may be wrong, but I was given the impression that perhaps this wasn't their first scene...more of a funny, follow up moment....especially given the fact that Ronna is banging on the door shouting "Josh, do you have Donna?!?!?" Oh, boy, how to answer that question!?!?!?!?  How long do we have to wait - has anyone worked out when that ep is screening here? (It's ep 16).

OH MY GOD!!!!!! I MEAN OH MY GOD! This day has turned out rather well in my fave shows stakes: Richard Dean Anderson is coming back to stargate - and thus tying another loose end of love - and now this! Have to say from the relaxed looks on their faces, they're not a bit fazed by it...it all looks sooo opptimistic but like I said it's still bittersweet but YAAAAAAAAAAY!

I'm so lovin' John Wells right now!!!! I read that Lawrence O'Donnell also said something about a "beautiful nude scene" on a radio interview recently. Apparently, LOADS of people turned up on set for the filming that day - I wonder why!?!??!?!?!?!!? Oh man...I CANNOT wait!!!!

Hi I'm new, Did you know that www.televisionwithoutpity.com has a West Wing page with recaps of every show that has beeen aired in the US, they're usually a 12 page detailed synopsis of what has happened and the main points of who said what. Sadly no pictures, plus the occasional opinion from the recapper, but they're great if you want a sneak peak ahead to the next episode. I am definatly pro-Josh and Donna getting together by the end of the series, and I hope he makes the first move. But won't there be a problem with them working together if Santos wins? Because technically Donna will be working for Josh if he's Chief of Staff. Am I wrong? |

Hey, sleepgirl! Thanks for that. Yeah, I usually check the TWOP recaps occasionally. If you're new to all this, it may also be worth giving my fav J/D sites a mention: 1. my-serendipity.net is FAB - Michelle, who runs it, puts up clips of all the recently aired episodes (they're ahead in the US). Most clips are J/D centric! 2. political-affairs.net is another FAb site. Fionna, who runs it, puts up ENTIRE transcripts of EVERY SINGLE J/D scene, word for word. Check it out! 3. Yahoo has 3 groups worth mentioning - the JD talk group (for all the gossip), and the JDFF sites - fan fiction, for those that are into it. 4. screenmusings.net - has screen captures of EVERY WW episode, second by second. You can browse each one or download the entire files in zip format. Excellent if you are looking for a new wallpaper! Let me know if you like them!!!

I have to say that I thought that it would never happen, and I'm glad that it happened in a really J/D way, not too staged. Also what did you make of the glass moment, I know that other groups have mentioned it and I have to agree that I think that it was a note to the previous episode in which Josh breaksdown and Donna, through Leo, gets him the help he doesn't know he needed. * * * * * * * * * * End of Spoilers. The only bad thing about this whole excitement is that my essay/ final's are due in on friday, and they are being left undone at the moment. SPOILERS TAKE CARE!!!!! * * * * * * * * * * * Well, Lottie, you can't be a proper student without pulling at least one all-nighter!!! Yeah, I've read the stuff about the glass, too, but I have to say I think it's easy to start reading to much into things. I'm not convinced by it. I thought it was more of a one more for the road/dutch courage thing, with the firm putting down of the glass as a "this is it, I'm gonna go for it" type of thing. What do you think? I LOVED the clips. Yes, not too staged and very J/D. It was always going to be hard, making the transition between friends and lovers, without some awkwardness. The interesting thing is that JOSH is the one who is trying to be open and relaxed and make things comfortable for Donna. You can see him trying so hard to do and say the right things. I LOVe that he's not freaking out about this. He's seems genuinely happy about it. I also love that it's Donna who's finding it hard to adjust in some ways. She's playing it very cool and I can see why. She's expecting Josh to have a nutty, get cold feet and pull back and is merely trying to protect herself. I'd be cautious, too! However, I feel good about this. The tension is good. It keeps us hanging on a while longer, too, which is lots more fun than it all being over too soon. Josh will hang in there and prove to her that he's ready to step up and be the man she needs him to be. I have complete faith!!!! (especially when the writers give us TWO bedroom scenes, not one!!!!!) Wasn't the second one delightful!?!?!? I loved the way they were so "married couple" about it and the way they grinned and laughed together as if they had been doing this for years - especially over the "do you have Donna!?!?!?" Hi Impervious, ********** SPOLIER SPACE************ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I do sgree that that the placing of the glass did signal that he had FINALLY made up his mind to go for it, but I also still think that it was used to reacall that memeory, perhaps just to emphasise the point that this has been a VERY long courtship and that this would be serious for both of them. I too am loving the clips and the way Donna is reacting, its more of a real reaction, if you know what I mean. Having myself, in the past played 'toe-sies' with a friend I can understand how she must be feeling, a mix of fab, embarassed and unsure. I am interested to hear what you think might happen after the events of next week. Hi archangel, if you are looking for what I think you are looking for then you need to watch both Now What? and Two-sies.although I would recomend watching all of the clips, Offer Accepted, especially as it sets up the whole ep. Hi Lottie and Archangel!! I so enjoy getting together with you guys for our little J/D chats! Are you like, me....no one understands why I'm so addicted!!!! Archangel, I second Lottie's comments about which clips to use. DEFINATELY need to see them all. Check out the ....or something?clip as well as it's really cute - Donna playing the siren, sort of! Good for you, Lottie, with your MA/MSc? What are you studying? Yeah, I pulled a few late nights doing my degree, many, many, moons ago... As for your question on where I think this will lead...to be honest, I think we've all had enough of the misdirection (7 years of it, after all), so... no, I don't think Josh will revert to type at all. For a start, he genuinely seems happy with Donna and is do desperately trying to do the right thing and to check her temperature after what they've just shared. I think, if anything, the events to come will bring them closer together. Donna is the one being cagey 'cause she thinks that Josh will do a nutty. The funny thing is that they know each other so well. She's turning into the career woman he's always gone for in the past, while he's trying to bring the affection he knows she craves. I think it's very sweet and I think they'll find a middle ground eventually. After all, there are only 6 eps left.

By the way, my=serendipity has a new section. Check out the link on the left hand side of the screen on Josh and Donna's history. She has mentioned some of the highlights of their journey to this point and included some of those great clips, beginning with the very first ep where she brings him coffee, through to the present. Some great clips to catch you up if you are new to Josh and Donna and are interested in their back story. For the rest of us...just great for reminiscing!!!

Well that was rather mad - two-sies was romantic and sweet but in a very West Wing type way (gotta watch CNN, check out the polls) Good to see Donna take the courage to flirt publicly, Josh still looking as dumbstruck as ever But the joke 'do you have Donna?' was very good and endearing Thanks people!

Seen all eps up to date with the states. Trust me, they made right choice with pushing j/d relationship on, she'll be crucial for him with leo being dead.
