yes, u didn't recoinse that two guys from her squard, The same guys that tried to change bosco from grassin on cruz, there did look like prisoners but u know there were undercover officer.

Same here... this was a really good episode giving insight into Cruz, and what makes her tick... it was great seeing her laid open, and really made you feel for her.

I don't think Bosco was all that bad actually... although it did show that he doesn't really know or understand her... he was trying though, and I thought he showed just the right level of compassion, and understanding.
Bosco was trying to give Cruz the opertunity to finish things her way... you know the whole clousure thing... and I think in a way it worked... Cruz decided to let the system deal with him, which was a great decision on her part, and shows us that even though Cruz has 'interesting' methods, she does believe in the system on some level, and is at heart a good cop.
I'm not convinced that Cruz sent those cops to beat him up... I think that was much more likely to be their decision, and probably something she didn't want... I think she's the type of person who's quite picky about the people she chooses to fight her battles for her, and I don't believe it's something she wants other cops doing... I could easily be proved wrong though!
cruz is clever...i woudlnt be surprised if she made it seem like she was going by the book but then had the 2 guys go in at the end.and also i agree with bosco at the end,she didnt deserve what happened to her.
So no one seems to mention Doc....i mean he is going nuts by the looks of it!

just to add again to the who shot who debate - bosco didn't kill noble to protect cruz, noble drew his gun against faith as he needed to get back his other gun (the murder weapon). its quite likely he had another gun on him, remember how many times he said he was afraid. faith shot first as she realised that cruz had lost it and was going to shoot her (do you think it was the banging the gun on her chest that gave it away). i guess the reason that it wasnt shown was as it was the season finale the writers/producers hadnt yet decided what would happen themselves! Tom berenger was only ever going to be in 3 episodes.
Now i need help - i cut off the last 20 mins of thursday night episode - the one where sully saves the judge and cruz is getting mixed up in prostitution. can anyone tell me what happened? i got as far as doc giving kim a warning for not get permission to use drugs. i want to know before i watch the friday episodes. Thanx.
with regard to the whole shooting incedent...how come Bosco and Cruz are still working..surely there would be some kinda enquiry when 3 cops have been in a shootout with each other!! Am really liking the late nite eps, seems much darker. And its great to c Sully back on form and friends with Davis again Theres another late nite ep on Sat nite (well..Sun morning at about 02.15) cant wait!

thanks tvnutz, i assume cruz is raped by one of the clients? going undercover with no close backup, that was another great idea by her wasnt it. she has so many.

True fans?! wasnt season 1 of third watch first shown on sky one a long time ago, before ch4 got it? i seem to remember thats where i first saw it, and have followed it ever since! think we can have differing opinions and all be 'true fans', anyone seen the variety of ideas about the shooting?!
not saying faith/bosco thing would work in fact that was a bit of a joke comment coz i cant stand her husband/daughter. i just think that it is suggested there is something else to that relationship other than friendship. anyone else pick up on faiths language in friday nights episode, about him "dumping her" to go to anti crime? and did anyone see the episode couple of weeks ago where they did a flashback to when they first met at the academy? she gave him some lingering looks then looked gutted when he a) said she looked like a mum and b) wouldnt come to her party! i think bosco sees her as a reliable mother figure/loyal partner but i think the writers have suggested for years that she feels, maybe subconsciously, something deeper. im not suggesting she, or the writers, would ever do anything with it just that it is there.
well Happy,i'm another TRUE FAN ha ha who has seen it since sky1 and irish tv first broadcast it in early 2000(a good year and a bit bf4 ch4 got around to starting it) and have loved the show ever since having seen all eps from seasons 1 to 5 plus 1 or 2 downloaded from the current us season.cheers. by the way,happy,ming etc i've posted a message on the discuss 4 boards where it seems 2 eps are going to be shown out of order after the thursday lunchtime ep on c4 this week.

No, no, no, no, no! ... surely those looks are the same looks Faith gives to everyone... Seriously, whenever she's trying to work someone out, or work out one of Bosco or Cruz's untruths she uses that look... if you're gonna think that's a look of lust then she's lusting after half of the criminal population of the 55 precinct... and most of the dodgy cops as well!

I think by this it's showing that the partner relationship between them runs very deep, at least for her... this is by all intents and purposes a relationship... I don't think it means that she wants anything sexual out of it though... there are lots of different types of relationships, and Bosco and Faith have a really strong one, just nothing sexual...

Oh for sure! ... I was lucky enough to catch it as a repeat a couple of years ago when they started showing daytime repeats of ER and Third Watch... so I've been hooked ever since, and managed to see the majority of the C4 episodes... I scour the TV guides when it's off, praying that I'll find a TW episode hidden somewhere within it...
... unfortanatly since TW has such stupid scheduling, it's really difficult to stumble across and get into... once you do of course, it's addictive!
... I have a friend who's started watching it this year, and also loves it... I've just leant him all my most recent tapes, so that he can catch up on the episodes he's missed in the last few weeks...
Well mixed feeling in this epsoide, just when life was getting great for Caros his daugher is sick. it been quite a long time since the daugher story-line came up again but here it is. so doc back demoted, got to be honest i think he has gone a little psyco a bit but he didn't kill anyone, he was helping the police, i kinda of thought it was ok what he did in sense as long the person isn't too much injuried it should be ok. i am so glad the Bauford thing came to the end. i think cruz is back but thing did get scary when Cruz started shooting at him. just because of what happend to her two epsoide ago she still the same person. Bosco look was enough to look concerned, what would happend if she killed him.

It's really strange, just last night I was wondering about Carlos's daughter... I think it's becuase he's had such a good run lately, and there are new people picking up on the show all the time, and I was thinking that they didn't know about his past and his daughter, and how odd that must be... tis the same with Jimmy, Kim and Joey...

In one way I'm glad he did it... he was helping out Sully and Ty, and he did bring a quick end to a dangerous situation. The big problem though is that paramedics are supposed to be neutral. They go out on the streets, and patch up everyone that needs help. By helping out the police so blatently doc has put the other paramedics in a possibly dangerous position, as they may become more of a target for criminal gangs.
It's a bit like aid agencies working in war zones... they have to be very careful not to take any sides so that they aren't endangered themselves... Remember ER and the whole Congo thing?

Cruz was on top form today! ... twas definitely a good episode, and I'm glad they got him in the end... I much prefer how this whole thing's been handled than the Russian mob thing... remember in the same/similar situation Sully shot the guy!
Bosco is such a sweetheart around Cruz at the moment... they appear to be developing a much better working relationship towards one another...
... and did anyone else notice someone looking heaps like Faith in the roll call at the start of the episode? ... that really freaked me out for a moment!
